would have recruited receivers well enough

Petrino recruited terribly at receiver outside of that instate class. He made them work due to scheme but the obvious lack of talent when Bielema took over was appalling.

Petrino won five games his first season with average talent, which was where the program was headed when he was fired. No defense and the playmakers were gone.

He had a much better qb than when he started, he had his receivers for his system. We would've won 8-10 the John L year and recruiting would have continued up

I like Brett's philosophy, what he's trying to do.
We just don't have, and may never fully have, the personnel to implement it to it's full strength.

You've got to have the hosses on both lines.

Average talent was not what Petrino had in 2008. That was more on the lines of zero talent. The freshman from that class got A LOT of playing time.

How is that any different then when Bert took over?

That was the point, the talent level was on a decline again well before Bert got here.

We could have won 10 this year if we'd have had an o-line. Pulling d-linemen and not being prepared for this year was pretty disappointing. Especially for a Bielema team. I'm sure that's been said already...

If Froholdt had been on that d-line by all accounts it was gonna be "SEC quality". I don't know alot about that linebacker who got hurt earlier this year but if he has speed it could have been nasty.

Linebacker and O-line.

Our offense was a force last year. And it was damn fun to watch.

How anyone can excuse the run defense right now is beyond me.

The play where we blew fireworks off on a fake TD and then fumbled the ball into the end zone the next play was THE MOST RAZORBACK play I think I've ever seen. And I've seen a shitload of those.

I stayed the whole game in protest (and beers in the club). What an utterly pathetic display overall. Someone should have been fired today.
