I will. Obviously with the state the sec is in right now 8-4 I possible which Normally I would be ok with but this was one of the few magical years to where we had a shot at 9 or 10 wins. Now I want the hogs to win and I hope we can pull this off and get to 8 or 9 wins but I hope it doesn't fool Jeff into keeping bert around longer he than he needs to be and he needs to be gone yesterday.

Just stick with 2-10 narrative you had 2-3 days ago. No need to walk back your requisite situation to be upset about what 18-20 year olds do on a field

If we ended up 8-4 with a bowl win, I'd be fine.

I think we get absolutely blown the frick out against Alabama and probably Auburn. Gus will do everything he can to run the score up against us.

Our other SEC games.. they look winnable.

If we win fewer than 3 SEC games, Bielema should be fired.

If we end the season with a losing record, Bielema should be fired.

If we lose to Missouri, Bielema should be fired.

If none of those three statements are true (minimum 3-5 SEC record and a bowl win, or 4-4 SEC record at least, with no loss to Missouri) then we can wait another year and save a few million dollars.

Regardless of what happens, if the administration feels like they can replace Bielema with a better coach, they should do it.

January 1st, 2018 the buyout drops to $11.7M

the buyout drops again on January 1st, 2019.

If he only wins 2 SEC games or fewer.. particularly if we lost to Missouri.. he's gone. The rest of the SEC West looks bad.. and if we end up the worst team.. AGAIN, then he will not survive it.

Agreed. I still think the scenario is , wins enough this year, likely 7, then ends on a high note next year and bolts to Iowa or k state on his own

That sounds like a great scenario.

It's insane, every game I watch and think good God we suck then the other teams play and I either watch or hear how bad they are and think Bert is so lucky because his suckage is just blending in with everyone else and not standing out. Crazy times in the sec.

Of course he wouldn't be going anywhere. Lets just hope 8 wins doesn't get him an extension.

That's what 8m worried about. I know he won't be fired if he wins 8 I'm saying that won't get me back in his good graces either

Coaching pool is shite.
Qb's in the NFL is shite.

All this HUNH has fricked college and NFL football.

Bert is a good man but his schtick won't work here.

Kansas St. is a good place for him to land

This I what I want to see.

6-8 wins this year with us improving as the year goes on and then next year have the team ready to play and male a good run at 9-10 wins.

If not then look elsewhere for a head coach.

If we go 8-4 this year I have no issue with Bielema sticking around.

Sometimes you gotta be more patient and sometimes you have to burn it all down and start over...with an 8-4 record this year Bielema will get the patient treatment from Long because Bielema runs a good, clean program.

Look at LSU, they burned it all down with Les winning 8-10 games a year and we see where it has them now.

8-4 would be a game better than my prediction. I would be happy with it

Also if it ends up being a disaster and they fire him after the season they aren't waiting until January.

8-4 with these lines while rebuilding the WR an RB corp will buy him another year I'm sure.

The hope would be that next season they can improve the line play and Kelly will have a good transition into the starting role making a 10-12 win season reasonable with the schedule they are playing.
