I see your Morris and raise you Bert and JLS.

If I remember correctly, Chad Morris ended up having never beaten a Power 5 team in his college coaching career, so he'd certainly be driving the clown car.

I wish we'd just announce that we're starting the second team and make it interesting. My view is that it actually does harm to the 'ones' to piddle around with non-competitive competition then try to step back up to MS State. The obvious injury risk aside, I just don't think it does any good to play an opponent who isn't even close to the level you compete on.

The 2s would be fired up, the game would be fun and we'd still win by 4-5 TDs...along with building badly needed depth.

It will be. People still have beaten hog syndrome. They simply don't have the kind of players we do. Even if we come out flat and they come out on fire, we will win.
