I would think that shuts the door. Based on Kendall’s interview with Pig Trail Nation people speculated he favored Franks over King. And probably helps that Franks will be enrolled for Spring and King won’t be enrolling anywhere until Summer

Because briles directly coached king during a stellar year, and king would come in familiar with the playbook and briles familiar with him.
Plus King under briles put up better numbers than franks has at UF and UF fans are basically good with franks leaving.

I think in this case it probably has a lot to do with his behavior off the field. Thing that struck me about his game is that he is a passionate competitor. I think he has the tools to be a good one, but he is prone to mental mistakes.
So yeah, like Starkel. Except I think he may be better than Starkel. He may throw a couple of picks, but I don't think he's gonna throw 5 in a single game.
He does have the ability too to throw a pick and not let it get him down. He will go back out there and get "tha big 6."

Yeah I don’t mind a transfer but I’d prefer one who was good At his last stop. King is a perfect example of the place he’s leaving being sad he’s gone. Franks is another one that basically got beat out. We need a guy who is better than 2nd strong in the sec. but I’m also a realist and understand this maybe the best we can do right now under the circumstances and I’m sure franks is better than anything we have on campus (unless Jefferson fixes a whole lot in between now and next August he’s not an sec qb) but I just really don’t want to hear a bunch of fans and media prop him up after he commits like he’s gonna be some great game changer that he won’t be if he was he’d have stayed at Florida

We’re not in a position to turn down a guy who had 31 TDs in the SEC last year.
That said, I noticed that there is a “lowlights” video of Franks on YouTube of bad plays which I’ve never seen for a player before lol. Gives you the full context after you watch his highlights. A lot of the plays on there weren’t his fault and some were ticky tack but there were some pretty awful looking throws and decisions on there too. But even a guy like Mallett with huge arm talent didn’t always make great decisions with the ball. The biggest thing I think Franks has different from Starkel is he can move around a lot better for his size.

Let’s face it he’s not a great player by any means. But he is way better than anyone we have on campus.

Ya know man, I am not sure what we know.... Mullins has a penchant for choosing certain Qbacks and Briles knows how to work with one's strengths as well.
We also shouldn't judge our current Qbacks with the old regime. They didn't know their butt from a hole in the ground!

In starkel’s defense he had a G5 tight end coach teaching him.

Sorry, but there is no excuse for Starkel in my eyes. Dude was a total head case.
After he threw five picks to San Jose State I didn't want to see him take another snap. I don't care who your coach is -- that shite is terrible. PLUS, this was the second SEC school he bombed out at. PLUS, he made jokes about the 5 picks the very next day on Twitter.
I have no clue how anyone can see anything but "bum" when they look at Nick Starkel. All the talent you could hope for, absolutely nothing on the field. He did more harm to his team than good when you consider his half-arse attitude.

Chad Morris brought Nick Starkel in here for the simple fact that he is an Aggy.

He can sling it. There's no doubt about it.
Franks will never have a 5 int 1 TD type game.
Instead of some shite like that, even if you got some ints out of him, it would be more like 3 ints, 5 TDS.
He is a better competitor than is Nick Starkel.

The way Briles system is set up, I'd be very surprised if Frank's doesn't have success in it.
