yea I'm salty as frick that the volleyball fricking douche canoe is getting praise for whipping up on a weak schedule. lol the motherfricker came out on top since he no longer has to worry about beating bama or lsu.

meanwhile we're stuck here defending firing him.

We don't have to defend shite. Bobby never fielded a defense during his stint here. Any team that had a mobile QB had our number.

Somewhat agree. Charlie left the cupboard full, no doubt. But you cant deny Petrino is a top5 coach in CFB, at least offensively. Can he have longevity at a program?? That remains to be seen, as he hasnt thus far.

I know one thing, I wish we wouldnt have had to fire him. I also hope we never have to play against him in the SEC. Im happy so far with CBB but Petrino had us higher than we've been since the mid 80s.

He is a very good coach. However, people love reinventing history. I've seen knucklheads on here refer to his 16th ranked class as proof that he was a top notch recruiter. That classes's rating was bolstered by 4&5 stars Colby Berna, Anthony Leon, Anthony Oden, Austin Moss, Ronnie Wingo, Rudell Crimm and Darius Winston.

If LSU hires him, it would be a bad deal for us and the SEC.

Great coach. Awful human being.

I admit that I loved our offense while he was here, but I also felt dirty knowing what a slime bag he was.

Bert has as many wins against Ole Miss, LSU, and Alabama.

Bert has as many road wins against ranked teams.

Bert has as many top 15 and top 10 wins.

Bert has as many bowl wins.

Bert has more OT wins.

Bert has come far closer to beating Saban than Petrino did.

Our offense in 2015 was better than anything Petrino ever fielded here.

Bert has fielded a top 10 defense.

With Bert, we're never not going to be in a game.

I'd say we're doing fine.

Literally the only thing I miss about Petrino is being able to blow out bad teams and not play down to our level of competition.

Eh, it is slightly annoying but anyone who doesn't understand why he was fired is either A) Trolling, B) Ignorant of the whole situation or C) too stupid to have a conversation with

This is what has always given me more hope. Besides the game in 2010, Bama would destroy us every year. We should have won in 2014 and it was a close game late into the 3rd in 2015

Yep. We dominated Bama in 2014 and should/would have beaten them had Walker not butterfingered walking into the end zone. Last year, we were leading deep into the 3rd quarter in Bryant-Denny until we gave up the 81 yard TD pass to Calvin Ridley.

Meanwhile, Petrino got blown out every year excepting 2010 when he shite away the game because he was too stupid to run the football and seal the win.

Imo you can't say someone is a top 5 coach then qualify it by cutting the game into a third.

The top coaches in the country all field teams solid in all three phases of the game.

He's lucked into a mobile QB who can also pass the ball, this is no different than what has been seen from Malzahn, bryles, Mack brown etc. they have an elite QB who presents match up problems and have a great year or two as a result. If finding these qbs was more than luck, they wouldn't have mediocre years surrounding this QB.

Top coaches are shown by showing consistency from their teams and programs.

I'll say he is a Top 5 coach and I'll cut the game into 1/8ths, now tell me I can't
