You rightly place victim status with the women who were attacked, but fail to recognize the victimhood of the kids who won't get a scholarship to play ball at Arkansas because of scholarship reductions. You completely dismiss the victimhood of fans, who would do the bulk of the suffering upon drastic NCAA sanctions.

Are you seriously equating rape victims to fans suffering from a bad football program?

Do you see me equating them? I'm saying hiring a POS coach makes victims of everyone, and you dismiss this fact out of hand. You come right out and say you don't mind the coach paying players and hiring hookers, which can only result in fans paying the price eventually.

I agree mostly with Troy here.

What one does off of the field, usually can determine what they do on the field as well.

4th and 25 was Karma...

But if we are going to hire a scumbag, hire Petrino back with huge demands on staff, etc. Prior to hiring a self professed jimmy swaggart type with several paid Jessica Hahns on the sideline. Geeze...

I would rather have a wolf in wolf's clothing than a wolf in sheep's clothing fwiw

Petrinovs biggest issue now is a.) his last year or so AT Louisville where they were damn near as bad as we are now, and B.) he honetsly can't put a staff together anymore because no one will work with him.

His staffs were never strong but he had his loyalists... But no longer.

The McGee's and Klenakis's of the world have found other places where they don't have to deal with the Devil on a daily basis.

He also can't get a d coordinator worth anything to work with him. Hel he barely could back in the day because of how he mistreated and berated the defense for actually playing good.

His career as a major HC is over. Only his family will work with him now.

Additionally, sources said a Gus Malzahn reunion is not expected to happen.

I scooped footballscoop! My sources (lol) have been saying this for several days now. Also that Norvell cooled a bit but is still very much in play.

I bet the coach that's already interviewed is Kiffin. Almost has to be unless it's someone completely out of left field that we're not thinking about.

I like Leach, but I'm not hearing much of anything about him. Not sure what the deal is there, but we don't seem as hot on his trail compared to the others mentioned. We'll see, it could very well be him and everyone else has been floated as BS.

Kiff agreed to a phone interview with Hy….

Wasn't made aware for sure if it was consultation type of talk, or job offer talk.

I am not joking, this is what I was told. I was like "Why in the …. would Hy be asking Kiff about other coaches? Didn't make any sense to me.

Word within the coaching profession is that Malzahn is not interested in using Arkansas as an exit ramp out of Auburn in what can fairly be described as a tenuous situation on the Plains.

Well, atleast Gus won't use us again.
