Please tell me how the team coming out completely unprepared and flat is not the coach's fault. I'm dying to hear this.

So we were on pace to give up 160 points and gave up 79. Sounds like they played amazing defense for the rest of the game with that logic.

Want to know what our offense is? High ball screens and iso.

Same for pretty much every team at every level of basketball though.

I'm sure it does to you. Still waiting to hear how the entire team being unprepared both defensively and offensively for this game isn't Mike's fault.

Everything falls on the head coach.

Obviously not Butler. They drew doubles with penetration and played the inside-out game beautifully. If only we had a team full of spot up shoote...wait a second...

We we're also projected to lose this game. Is that on Mike too that we played a better team?

Yup.

I've always found it interesting that Anderson never seems to take the blame. Lot of coaches will give the "falls on me" speech, "I didn't have our guys ready", etc. I can't recall him ever saying something like that.

Butler ran the p&r almost every play today, Cook was getting schooled by their best player over and over on the switch. We finally quit switching and pulled Cook and he would just hit from deep.

But yeah, they ran p&r a ton. Every team does at every level more than anything else.

Our defense has been subpar throughout under Mike.

Gonna pick em up off the bus! Help that damn bear!

Much of it is his strategy and philosophy.

Barford and Macon - defensive limitations didn’t help but neither did Mike not having a consistently capable PF on the roster.

Didn't shoot well, not sure how that's Mike's fault.

You recruit players who can shoot, not just jump and run.

But hasn't he been recruiting at high levels?

The worst part about the defense has been the inconsistency.

That Florida game, just nowhere to be found today. They've had great D games, but too few consistently.

I mean he must suck, he has a top 15 draft pick on his roster.

But since Gafford got like 7 points, that's Mike's fault.

SEC leading shooters:

1. Jaylen Barford
2. Daryl Macon

We literally said before the year that if Barford and/or Macon happen to have their off game in the tournament we are gone no matter the round. It was on them to carry us. Well...

We got KILLED on the boards today too.

We shot poor, we played poor defense, we rebounded poor. Just laid an egg, period. Definitely has to fall on the coach, players are plenty good enough.

Macon attributed the loss to not making shots. Are you calling Macon a liar?

You want Macon to go out during a press conference saying his coach is shite? Not a great look for a draft prospect.
