So does the eyeroll emoji mean something other than sarcasm with kids these days? Certainly possible. I used to use the winking smilie all the time because it must meant “‘intended with humor” or “don’t take me seriously”. Then people told me that it signifies flirting now. I’ve basically stopped using it since.

Me either. I mean, if he wants to stay, that's cool. I think a clever man could find a way to make an offense work around him, but a clever man could do the same with others too.
