I like Petrino with Stoops as DC once Kentucky cans him.

That'd get the NIL fund where it needs to be.

Am I the only one who thinks Saban wouldn't be a home run in the NIL era? No chance at him but just saying.

Yes, that would be bigger news that Cal was. Instant credibility. Instant winning.

No shot. He's about to be an NFL head coach.

Frank Fletcher fixing to step up the NIL chest with some string arse Dodge offers.

I am curious to see if a Fletcher VS Stephens Inc battle plays out if Petrino comes out and wins a few.

I'm seriously asking for someone to explain Lashlee to me.

I don't get it either. Good thing is, Irwin is tweeting that we're going strong on him which means it's likely BS.

I like Lashlee's track record at SMU, and the potential for him to unite our boosters

2-2 record with wins over east Texas a&m and Missouri state and losses to Baylor and TCU is a good track record?

I meant overall considering their playoff appearance. You're not wrong though I'll cool swiftly if they suck this year.

Sumrall is probably my number 1 hope

I read somewhere that "the plan" is 10 mil a year for Rhett. SMU allegedly bumped his salary to between 4-6 mil up from 2 mil last year when the made the first round of the playoffs to be blown out by Penn State.

SMU allegedly has a huge NIL budget compared to Arkansas. DFW is supposedly easier to recruit too.

All I'm seeing is a new guy taking over and having some Houston Nutt first year magic, gets paid and goes on cruise control.

I honestly see him as a bigger disaster than. Chaggy in the SEC.

How could he be worse than 4-18?? Damn that's some low expectations lol

Rhett is a 1-year wonder at the moment and has more resources than probably anyone else in his league. He has bust written all over him at Ark. He also does not win games he should not (ie beating a more talented team on paper).

Compare that to Sumrall or even Dillingham, and he isn't close to those guys.

I've figured them out. They feign Lashlee so we get enamored and take the bait, then we pay them a big arse buyout. They then hire their primary target, Bobby Petrino.

With Lashlee he wouldn’t be gone in 2 years, I think is the point. Meaning he may suck here but he’s getting 5-6 years minimum cause he’s from here.

Pretty big risk

I had front row seats to that Missouri State-SMU game and can tell you that SMU looked like shite. It was hard to see how they were a CFP team last year.

So thats why that Walmart plane left and went to the State College Saturday?

Also, why not fly him in and pick his brain about the future?
