I'm betting an anonymous donor paid for their lifetime tickets

Y'know, most of the time your posts are dumb but harmless. But this post makes you look like a huge douchebag.

I'm never gonna rip on the dude. He was dealt the hand he was dealt and the same goes for his family.

If you're upset that a guy with Down's is getting a better shake in life than you are, then I see that as much more of a personal indictment than anything.

Give the man the tickets, he obviously struggles in life, oh by the way.

You think he's the only in the state that does?

As someone that has had PLENTY of issues, and haven't gone looking for attention due to those issues, nor received anything special for this issue, I have ZERO problem with him getting those tickets. Good for him. Not his fault he got what he got. He's certainly all in with the Razorbacks, and it doesn't matter the coach, or how good any team is. It's something that greatly enriches his life. Wonderful. Everyone needs something to believe in, and if that gets some help along the way, then Bravo, there is still some good people. His win is not your lose. Get over yourselves. Maybe if you weren't such asswipes, someone might want to help you as well.

I seen the title yesterday and avoided this thread. I was bored at work, so I looked and now I wish I had just kept avoiding.

The first impulse is often the correct one.

I would think it would be better not to have been a publicized thing.
Great for him, but there are undoubtedly other handicapped fans that will see this and wonder how much more special they need to be to get this special treatment.

So do it on the down low with the request it stay that way, or better yet don't do it at all because nothing stays on the down low with people addicted to social media attention. JMO

I disagree. If we go around and stop helping people because others might get their feelings hurt that it's not them getting the support, then we'll stop being able to give anyone anything.

I've lived out of state for about 6 years now, I guess I missed the whole Canaan Sandy thing even though I've seen the name on here a few times. I just assumed it was some sort of rapper lol.

From what I gather, he/she has some sort of downs kid? I have no idea what the story is here.

And Pio, you seem oddly vengeful and hateful over this person. What's up with that?

I dont think there's anything wrong with doing something nice for someone like Canaan Sandy, but its annoying how he's being marketed by his family as some secondary mascot. He and his family pop up at every Hog related event nowadays. They're no different than attention seeking child star parents to me. Makes me cringe.
