Let this sink in. Our best players are hold overs from bobby. Bret's first couple of classes were so bad that only a few players are worth shite from them. Bret seriously has no clue what a big time Defensive end looks like apparently. We will have 0 pass rush next year. Our Offensive line could be about the same after losing Skipper and putting Jackson there instead.

I'm not sure what to expect. Is this just life as arkansas in this much tougher sec with a good A&M and a cheating Ole miss or should we expect more?

I think our recruiting has to get better no matter what. We have to evaluate better if we can't recruit head to head.

I don't thinks that's accurate.

Austin Allen - Bielema
Rawleigh Williams - Bielema
Devwah Whaley - Bielema
Drew Morgan - Bielema
Jared Cornelius - Bielema
Dan Skipper - Bielema
Frank Ragnow - Bielema
Jeremiah Ledbetter - Bielema
Brooks Ellis - Bielema
Dre Greenlaw - Bielema
Henre Toliver - Bielema
Ryan Pulley - Bielema
Toby Baker - Bielema

Really, outside of Hatcher, Wise and Collins, most of the top players on the team are Bielema guys.

It's pretty much his team at this point which may or may not be the problem.

Imagine that, players who have been in college for 5 years are good. Who'd have thought?

And I'm guessing you mean Hatcher, Wise and Sprinkle? Outside of Sprinkle, I'd argue that the other two aren't the best at their own position groups. Morgan is our best receiver, and Ledbetter is our best defensive lineman. If Hunter Henry would have returned this year, the same would've been said about Sprinkle.

Also, for the record, your point is wrong.

In space, he might be, but Keon made a couple of great grabs in the back of the endzone that JCorn probably couldn't make.

No. I'd take Hatcher all day/everyday over him.

Give me Drew Morgan. When we need a big play on 3rd down they guy always turns up. Guy is clutch.

pretty much been recruiting as well as we ever have and kept more kids in the program.

quite frankly I don't understand why people expect us to win recruiting battles. Why would anyone choose Arkansas over Alabama if you are a nationally recruited player that can pick anywhere?

While your point is valid, there are a lot of blue chip prospects that go to Alabama and never see much playing time whereas they'd be a quick starter for another SEC program. I know that a kid's perspective (especially when the ace Bama recruiters are blowing smoke up their asses) isn't the same as an outsider's... but it just seems like a lot of highly recruited prospects end up benching it at Bama.

and get championship rings and an education all while doing that. If you don't get into the NFL from the Bama program it's your own fault and doubtful you'd make it anywhere else anyways.

Vs what we have to offer:

education
and the possible dreams of being a big deal in arkansas football history.
