RPI killed our chances. Just another damn reason to do away with the SEC Tournament. It literally means nothing but a shot a getting players injured.

Arkansas could have finished 19-11 in the SEC and they would still have found a reason to keep them from hosting.

This isn't the first time.
They tried in the past many times have SEC teams in the same bracket so that they could lose in the supers.
2018 South Carolina.

The chairman for the selection committee is the FSU AD. He has final say.
Either way, although it sucks to not host, it is an easier path IMO. WVU would be excellent to draw.

I don’t disagree with this at all but for probably the last half of the season or more, our entire pitching operation has relied on Dietz going 6+. That we made it to the championship game with him only pitching .2 innings is the stuff of fantasy.

Yeah to me, it doesn’t really matter whether we end up in Morgantown, Lincoln, or Lawrence. What matters to me is that we end up matched up with UCLA in the Supers and not GT. I think UCLA is a fraud and I think GT is legit.

Assuming we were right on the hosting bubble, we’ll almost 100% for be going to the 14, 15 or 16 seed as we’ll be the 17-19 seeded team.

Interesting that our basketball team had a top 5 RPI and no one cared. Baseball team has really good metrics except for RPI and gets punished.
