Sucks getting tickets is impossible. If we make it to Supers I bet we have more fans in Atlanta than Georgia Tech has.

OU could maybe give GT fits.

An upset there is our only chance at making Omaha, IMO. Tech is basically Georgia's offense but with better pitching.

Eh, maybe. The only time I watched GT was the UNC series and UNC took 2 of 3 and was quite a bit better. We very easily could have taken 2 from UGA too. I don't think it's some unwinnable series.

Yeah we got opposite ends of the spectrum watching them. The game I watched they run-ruled Georgia

Was that midweek?

Eta: Yeah it was. Hard to put stock into midweek games, GT lost to Mercer the next midweek game.

I don't think their pitching is very good, they need to outhit everyone most games. Or it started to falter late in the season.

They gave up:
10 vs UVA
12 vs Mercer
9 vs Duke
6,5,8 vs god awful Xavier
7 vs Kennesaw State
11 vs Wake
14 vs UNC
9 vs GA Southern
14 vs Pitt

Yall think we start Gaeckle or Deitz tomorrow? I don’t think it matters either way. Gotta go 2-0 to make it through the regional so Gabe is gonna have to win a start, be it in Game 1 or Game 2.

There may be an easy matchup-related answer to this question too. I don’t know the Missouri St or Kansas lineups well enough to answer that though

Gaek game one Dietz game two.

If Gaeckle shits the bed, we're toast. We don't have the pitching to recover. These are the facts.

Hopefully we get the best of Gabe, dude is Jekyll and Hyde.

Dietz I'm sure unless he's still sore and they want to give him an extra day to recover but I'd think he would be fine by now.

Kansas is only -225 to beat Northeastern, by far the lowest odds of any 1 vs 4 matchup. No one else is even below -500. Would be hilarious and amazing if they lost.

Yeah there’s a not insignificant chance that the 0-1 game Saturday is the #1 seed vs the #2 seed.

I guess my preference is to start Gabe tomorrow and Hunter Saturday but ultimately am fine either way I think.

We would definitely prefer to start Gabe if we knew we were going to win.

It was a Tuesday game, but it was back when Georgia was using the Farley kid midweek and he eventually worked his way into an SEC role. He's the guy that we couldn't hit in the SEC Championship game. Granted, outside of him I wouldn't consider any of the arms they used any good.

I really wish we got paired with UCLA, they are so overrated. 2-2 with Saint Mary's in the 8th.

Down goes UCLA.

Unfortunately we’re looking like shite against Mo State at the moment.

We're not doing anything today that we didn't do during the season. This team never had a high ceiling.

gotta say, Mo State seems to be so much better coached, trained, organized, whatever... than we are.

Just a Solid, Solid baseball team.
