Gotta give him a shot at center field.

This fricking team late in games is something else. Get us to the late innings with a chance, all the pitching has to do.

The people that left should be ashamed of themselves. It's been a long time since I've seen Baum empty out in a close game like that.

The home atmosphere in general has been pretty garbage this year for our standards.

Incredible job of him to protect down 0-2 and keep fighting off pitches.

Huge with Hooks throwing 23 over 1.2 yesterday, was on fumes. No idea why they threw him at all yesterday.

Incredible call by Tom Hart.

I was watching on TV but wish I could hear Phil’s call as well.

Haven’t we lost a bunch of mid week games? Maybe the 26 runs to UGA at home had something to do with it?

Fans can only take so much.

Good win, if the pitching is wasn’t so so bad, I’d say this raggity arse team might be the one that actually does it for old man Dave.

That's so dang fickle. Razorback baseball has been a consistent winner for years with a shitload of postseason success. We still have a good team this season, but hog fans are spoiled. This team has a chance at hosting, but is a lock for postseason.

Let's not act like the home crowd hasn't had plenty to cheer about.

I'm not sure I fully agree with him, but it's not fickle. In 2021, 2023, and 2024 we were ranked #1 for most of the year, all three years. We didn't lose a single home series one time in any of those three seasons. We didn't make it out of Fayetteville in any of the three. I'm not saying we need to win the CWS every year, but when you're the consensus #1 team who has never lost at home, you don't lose at home for the first time during the postseason. You at least make it to Omaha for a two and queue.

Then we had the dropped ball debacle in 2018 that would have made all of this moot, had we brought home the trophy we deserved.

Then we spend time as a top ten team in 2017, only to get eliminated in the Fayetteville regional again. We at least lost one other home series that year.

We've found embarrassing ways to become choke artists over 50% of the time since 2017, and people are getting tired of it going on a full decade later. At least this year we were just overrated and not legitimately a contender, only to lose the very second losing starts to matter for the first time in 60 games.

Getting your hopes up to that degree and then having the fall is no way to live every other season. All while eight of the other 15 conference members win a national championship during DVH's tenure. I don't blame anyone for losing patience at this point.

Might as well quit watching every sport we play if this is what it takes to show up for a game.

Bud Walton atmosphere has been shite for years too outside of 1 or 2 games a season. Not buying the baseball excuse.

Those days are long gone and water under the bridge at this point.

We're just struggling to even be competitive at this point.

With NIL and revenue sharing, we're fricked.

Crowds will continue to diminish because of the price of admission.

Interesting at least.
