Glad to see the much-needed rotation changes. Pretty much lines up with what we were expecting.

Let’s hope the TBA for Game 3 is an actual change this time and not just trotting out Fisher again like we did against Auburn.

A lot of Sunday will depend on how good Gibler performs on Saturday.

If we can win Friday and spare Gabe then maybe Saturday the plan is to let Gibler go as long as he can hopefully 3 innings or so and let Gabe finish it out like old times. Win the first 2 and who cares on Sunday house money at that point.

True, but DVH’s approach has always been to sell out to win game 1 unless the run delta is enormous.

With how our bullpen has been this year, I think we 100% see Gaeckle in game 1 unless we’re winning by 6+ or losing by 4+.

Why are some people good closer or middle innings but can’t start the game? I’m sure that’s a million dollar question, that would get you a great job if you had an answer, just baffles me.

this was jumping the daggum gun bro. The way we have been struggling, and to win at Bammy with the way their home season is going was awesome. For The Win!

We've had a few teams recently that feel like they come alive late. Flare for the dramatic. I'll take it.

Gabe still looked terrible, very lucky to escape further damage in his lone inning of work. A hit a run 2 walks and a wild pitch.

Ahem, Speaking of flare... Dayumm... We on fire today. That was sweet to watch. 10/4 Arkansas bottom of the 8th.

Anything can happen, but who had it in their cards that we would march into Bammy and take game 1, be this competitive in game 2 regardless of the outcome?

And then lose to UAPB on Tuesday?

Would love to bring out the brooms. It's needed after this a-hole play we've had this year.

Awesome to see Ruiz return early after they initially said he'd miss about a month with his knee injury. Immediately starts producing again. He's my favorite newbie by far.

Is this where we say Bama was just overrated more than us turning it on or do we buy back in on this team? I'm torn.

Bama was predicted 12th in the SEC and to miss the NCAAT.

Looks like their pitching is in worse shape than ours. Oh well, break out the brooms today get home and prepare for a hot Georgia team.

I think Bama is worse than their ranking and record, but I also think we've played under our ability.

Still don't think highly of the team. We don't have enough arms to win a regional.

If Wiggins comes back strong and GG returns to the bullpen guy from last year we’d have all the parts to make a run.

Might have been a good matchup for us. They seem to struggle against quality lefties. Our righties haven’t lasted very long against them.

Having said that Carter Rutenbar has been a pleasant surprise. He’s plate discipline is very good. That type of stuff wins games. It could be that we’re finding the right players and getting better.
