Hope McFarland can have a break out year. Actually didn’t realize he hit .300 last year, thought it was less than that.

McFarland’s problem is he had 15 RBIs for the season on 35 hits in 117 at bats.

Also those fielding errors and pop up misjudgments.

Gates took over after the LSU series for postseason.

It is a shame because Vandy caught a very bad break in basketball. They could have been one of the best teams in the league.
