Haven’t beat Kentucky in Bud Walton since the Qualls put back in 2014.

Both of those teams seem to be so hit or miss. UK just has less losses. UK can go on the road and blowout Kansas, then go to Tennessee and lose by nearly 20.
Florida has looked Georgia level bad in some games, then beats AU. Seems to be Mike Whites Mo. Absolutely no telling what Florida my show up Tuesday. The good Florida we will lose to but the bad Florida we can beat by 10.

Torvik is probably the best we can use to simulate that stuff
A worst case scenario (losing out and losing the first game of the SECT) projects us as a 7 seed
That seems too generous but we have really built up our resume the last few weeks.

Also besides the obvious reasons to want a top 4 seed in the SEC tournament, it greatly increases the chances a bad loss opportunity won't present itself even if we do go one and done.
If the season ended today, we would probably be playing LSU, Bama or Florida in our opening game

Lunardi has us as a 5 seed now.

I really think Summitt's success warped Tenner's perspective on their men's basketball team. There's zero reason for them to expect what they expect. Listening to them you'd think they had multiple Final Four banners hanging up.

Seems like Bruce Pearl was their Petrino and they want to get back to that. They’re obviously much better in basketball than we’ve been in football since then but a lot of them aren’t satisfied with Barnes when he’s had them as a top 20 team most of the time there.
