How does the portal even work? Is it just a website? If so he could say he made a mistake. People still lie and say they didn’t get an email when we all have email on our phones instantly.

CSP didn’t know about or want St. John to leave. The coaching staff definitely knows his potential and is why they sat down with him and “helped” him make a smart decision for himself.

Who is St John going to play over and why wasn't he already doing it?
Latham and Limmer were weak spots in the line all year and he still barely ever played any meaningful snaps, even after Pittman said mid-year that he and Crawford were going to get snaps in those spots, but they never did.
I don't know the 2 starting guards' eligibility status going forward, but I'm sure St John was completely frustrated and hit the portal. I would be too.

Pittman has mentioned St. John in a few different press conferences this year as a player he was high on. I was surprised when he was mentioned as a portal guy because of that.

Both do. Pool has been announced as playing in some senior bowl so he’s most likely gone.

It'd hurt, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pool is gone. He's played a lot of football in his 4 years here, and has been a starter since he was a true freshman. That's a lot of wear and tear.
I was hoping he'd get sold on coming back, but at a certain point he may just be ready to move on and try to make an NFL roster.

If Pool wants to play professionally and has that ability, I don't know why he'd return. He's essentially been a four year starter. There's probably not much left at Arkansas that's going to change his NFL prospect profile. The assumption had to always be that he would be gone after this season.

Someone must have tried to talk him into leaving for another school. He has no reason to leave with more snaps coming next year.
