That dude weighs less than JJ Andrews and is just 6lbs heavier than Goat. He’ll get abused at the 5 spot.

He's a bench rotation guy that will face other second rotation guys. Great addition, top 10 in dunks in the nation. We love some athletic bigs around here!

Also weight is extremely overrated in today's game, just makes you slow footed and unable to guard the PnR. Athletic bigs all day over statues. Caleb Wilson going top 5 in the draft at the same height and weight is a great example.

Scouting Report on Arkansas-bound Cooper Bowser from a SoCon coach:

Strengths: Size and athleticism for the next level. He's a rim runner, dunker spot guy.

Weaknesses: Expected more out of him. He was hurt, but he wasn't dominant for his tools. Not a real physical presence or a back to the basket guy.

Ah, didn't know he was injured, hurt his toe and missed a full month. Would explain some of it.

Hopefully Thiam doesn't commit to St Johns on his visit today.

What it comes to 6’10”+ centers, there’s just not a wide range of impact potential among the guys who are athletic enough to throw down lobs, not get bullied in the paint, and can block shots. Only if you are a unicorn type that adds three point shooting or is a Shaq-like monster do you really separate yourself into a clear “next tier.” I get not paying $4M for a non-unicorn when you can get 90% of the same impact from a $1M guy.

I am good with the Bowser pickup. The guy looks very athletic and seems to be a decent passer. Sure, we all would like to get some big name splash pickup right away in the portal but those frickers are asking 4-5mil each.

This guy will be a good piece for the team and I am happy about the addition. Cal will add a couple more bigs and I think this team will be ready to roll. Hopefully good news on Ewin coming back as well.

Yeah I agree and there's a reason the few top guys are still in college as juniors and seniors on 2-3 different teams bag chasing above all else.

Cooper Bowser

Looks like a less athletic version of Trevon Brazile without the 3 point shot.

Brazile’s 3 point shooting this season was just good enough to give him the green light but not good enough to where anyone felt good about him taking those shots.

Yeah everyone just let him shoot, lets be honest, he wasn't a great shooter by any means. I'd have let him shoot all day as an opposing coach vs him going by a slower guy to the rim. Brazile had hism moments but he was defintely a guy I'd seen enough of after all these years

Yeah give be a 4/5 combo that is NOT in love with the 3 point line and I'll take it.
Brazile was a good player for us, inconsistent, but good.... but I won't miss holding my breath every time he jacked up a 3.
