8 game conference format (7+1 permanent), and we get stuck with Mizzou still?
How is it we get dicked around with every damn change that gets made in this conference? Hoped HY would negotiate something better

I hate playing Missouri. It’s so bland, no hype and will never garner any significant media buzz. Feels like playing an Iowa

Here’s the deal…since the last expansion, it was a matter of time before everything changed in college football. So I really don’t give a shite honestly.
Give me basketball mega death conference and give me baseball mega death conference, and I’ll show up to watch a football game or two and sell my tickets to the shitty games I don’t attend.
My give a shite meter petered out a few years back honestly. It’s all a damn money grab at this point.

Because we don’t want to voluntarily schedule a new loss every year? 9 conference games a year will kill us even more than what we have with the current schedule now.

The Bert and Morris eras and stomping on our dicks constantly plus the radical paradigm shifts in college athletics have significantly weakened my interest in college football. The rich keep getting richer, and parity seems like a pipe dream.
I’m still highly invested in baseball. My basketball interest is decent. Conversely, I have almost zero interest in any sort of breakaway semi-pro NFL feeder league bearing the name of the SEC.

Sounds like we need to get better and not be little scared bitches.
We’ll probably be an average to above-average team anyway if it ends up being 8 or 9 conference game schedule.

70% of all SEC games are won by the team with better talent. That's regardless of location.
Arkansas is about 10th every year in talent/recruiting. One more game equals one more loss.
Eight games sucks from an overall TV standpoint but 9 games it is not good at all for the Arkansas football program, which already has to climb Everest every year just to go to a decent bowl game.
Until Arkansas starts recruiting top 6-8 type classes every year, they will get their lids blown in by a 9 game conf schedule. I'd rather not watch a 5-7 team ever year and have half a roster full of injuries due to playing yet another NFL lite roster.

Arkansas won't be the only SEC that thinks like this. Sankey is in favor of a nine SEC game schedule.
That is fine when you are Georgia, Alabama and LSU but not such much if you are Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, State and Kentucky.

Arkansas doesn't have that kind of depth to handle a nine game schedule. Look at what happened last year with all those injuries and the eight SEC game format is brutal enough.
No need to add another game and it make it more suicidal.
