JCP has "gone rogue" in the sense that she's taking this opportunity and running with it as if she's never been/will be interim and has the full power a true AD would. The timing of the CBB firing was left in her hands and she's legitimately conducting the HC search hoping to knock it out of the park and earn the job full time.

She's been given full authority - at least temporarily - a true AD would have and is making decisions and moves as such. It's going around that she's been really tough to work for thus far, very demanding and coming in a little too hot. She's also keeping very quiet about candidates she's pursuing in the same vein as Jeff Long. She's been very busy with it and has left at least twice to meet with someone(s) in another state.

I think the PTB are waiting to see how she continues to conduct herself and the candidates she can gain interest from to make a decision, the thinking being that it somewhat negates the fact that we don't have an AD in place when luring coaches AND shows what she can do. I don't know what kind of timeline but I'd assume the 10 day window she mentioned herself is the key.

Razor, I was told the 10 day window was given to her by someone else. As in...you have 10 days to show us what you can come up with and then we are taking over.

I dunno. Everyone Ive talked with really likes her taking the "bull by the horns" attitude.

Well hell yeah. That's an enormous responsibility she is taking on.

I think she may earn the job.
