His heart's in the right place, but idk if I want him calling the shots. I humored the idea when he initially came into the picture with his soundbites, but after seeing him in a more long form setting on his podcast I'm not overly impressed.

AD is a glorified fundraiser and I think Bazz could raise some money. He has connections to all the deep pockets in the state.

Well he does run a marketing firm.
But we're screaming OOOHHH NOOZZZZ he tried to create some excitement around a game. Better than what Hunter has done the last decade, but hey we got that You're still here tweet.
Baz has done some stupid things to try and promote the University but he has also done ore to try and promote Arkansas sports than anybody in the last 20 years.
Other things he has championed that you don't bitch about.
Battle of the Boot - Frank enlisted Baz to create the whole thing and market it.
Broyles Award - Took out a 100k Loan on his own, and raised money from others to get it off the ground. Broyles refused to use Foundation money, so Baz had to go find the sponsors himself. Since 1996, he has grown it into what it is today, sponsored by Oaklawn.
Burlesworth Award
Cliff Harris Award
Little Rock Touchdown Club
Tusk Live Mascot Program
Just to name a few.
He champions Arkansas athletics and can raise money. That's their main job. Even when it comes to hiring these days, look around, it's the college presidents making the hires.
Baz is the man for the job.
