Just an FYI, Traylor will be interim HC at least through the Bowl, if not longer. Not sure what plans he has. Honestly not certain Jeff has the assistant coaching/support staff connections just yet to pull off being named permanent HC.

My brother said he would take on the S&C gig. Starting yesterday even. Said he'd have those frickers out there running bleachers right now.

He would be a tremendous upgrade from Herb. The guy working the counter at my gym would, too.
Herb and his jackshit S&C program arguably handicapped our teams more than any coaching hire or decision the last 5 years.

This. I'm thinking Herb forgot the CONDITIONING part of strength and conditioning, or maybe that it means strength for some, and conditioning for others.

Recruiting coordinator now is a title given for a pay raise in 95% of situations. It is the new "Associate Head Coach"
Some guys take the job seriously, but generally speaking, the "coordination"/administration of recruiting is a support staff function in today's CFB world with strategy type decisions from HC + coordinators.

Hell at this point I'd rather have the lady who did the S&C for the Lady Razorbacks soccer team as the S&C then Herb. Despite a major talent deficit they could run their asses off for 90 minutes and won a couple of matches late in the game just by wearing folks down.

DC I have no clue. Going to have to be a turnover focused defense I’d think so who are some aggressive play calling DC’s from La, Ok, Tex, or Ark?
