Jones is still feast or famine.

We will see how he holds up there this season. Holiday is in a pickle if he can’t get out of a regional this year. The natives are restless.

Yeah that's pretty bad for summer ball mash leagues. Tells you he isn't good IMO.

He might just be worthless.

But I've seen the power his bat can produce both ways.

I would hate to give up on a guy like that, but I'm not sure what could be done to get him confident again.

Sadly I think he was just a quick little flash in the pan and this is the real him. Hope I'm wrong, he'll keep getting chances until a little into SEC play I'm sure.

I remember thinking Reese Robinette would be a future stud after he hit the game winning homer against LSU a few years back as a freshman. Sometimes guys mash early before teams get tape on them and once pitchers figure out their weaknesses they become useless.

Another 3-2 banger.

Arkansas baseball is a flat circle.

I think Diggs will be fine, he's a good player. Really good AB there in the 9th. Souza hasn't ever done anything and is running out of chances however.

Souza has 8 K’s in just 11 AB’s year. He needs to sit for good, or at least until he gets his head straight and develops a better approach.

He has zero plate discipline, and swings over the top of everything. He was a strikeout machine last year too, and his BB/K ratio was extremely lopsided.

Yeah I'm not sure guys like Souza, Peppi, Thomas will see much PT come SEC play with how things are right now.

This roster actually has depth and we can continue to switch things up until we settle on a lineup.

I'd like to see Kozeal, Boles and Maxwell vs his old team tonight.

Thomas will be in just for his defense alone. He's the best defensive OF on the roster. I wish Becker and Boles could get more chances.

K-state up 5-1 on Michigan at the end of 7. Is the sky still falling?

DVH wanted this game. Threw our top BP arms and pinch hit for Diggs.

I sure some will shite on Thompson for only scoring two runs, but we squared up a bunch of baseballs tonight against a good staff. TCU’s defensive alignments tonight were money.

Yeah that was the sentiment from last nights game as well, a lot of hard contact. Aloy would have been a HR in baum tonight as well.

Can’t walk away this weekend with a 0-3 record. Had to throw in our bench guy to get the win

Aloy is not a bench guy. How disrespectful after he has carried us early.

Diggs can't hit for shite, something had to be done.

Baby Alloy should be a starter, Diggs can ride the pine for all I care.

DVH is still figuring out the lineup
