Weird statement. He's already significantly better than moody, who wen 14th overall

This. They don't just look at where they are now btw. But he's better than Moody was at the end of his only season. He's only played like 2 full games. I think Muss knows there's no hurry to rush him back. Need him when it counts at tourney time.

Don’t look now but Walsh is now +2.0 on the season. Brazille was 1.8

I love Walsh. Hate that it's taking a bit, but to me he always appears to be going all out all the time. He's gotta learn to give that same effort without being so tight and coarse about it. Maybe hang his tongue out or something to help keep his muscles loose and fluid. You can tell the kid is busting at the damn seams to do something good for the team. Once it finally clicks, he's going to be a beast. It's like he's too fired up and ready to go. Loved it when I saw him dancing a singing along with the fight song at the end of one game while nudging teammates on either side to join in. He's all Hog.

He had 3 points on like 1 for 7 shooting with at least 3 turnovers against Bradley. Black and Walsh look like dogs out there. I'm not completely sure nsj is a nba player yet. He does nothing at all at an elite level

You are aware he’s coming back from a fairly significant knee sprain right?

People said the same shite about Devin Booker when he was a frosh.

Could Walsh have the highest upside of the group?

I wonder if we could ever find bad games from future NBA superstars in college......

Since someone else brought up Brooker, don't look at his game against Eastern Kentucky, 3 turnovers and 1-8 from the field

I wonder if he will ever figure it out in the NBA

I still think NSJ has the most upside. His quickness is Iverson like. He seems a little rushed at times like Walsh, but much smoother and more natural in his movements. I think he come on strong as the season goes on both ends of the court. To me he looks like he's just on the verge of being the player we hoped for. He really hasn't had a chance to get adapted fully yet to the college level. And we have no clue if or how much his knee is bothering him.

Black

Black kind of reminds me of Lee Mayberry because he handles and distributes the ball well and is unselfish, plus plays good defense. He doesn’t score a lot but when he’s needed he can put up plenty of points. I like this kid.

Smith and Walsh will do nothing but improve the rest of the season.

I've noticed our offensive flow has been much smoother with NSJ. He spaces the floor and makes good decisions

Yeah, he was projected at #3 behind the most hyped prospect since Durant and Scoot Thompson because he may not be an nba player.

Once again, would you care to make a wager on this?

You’re talking about one game where he didn’t even play half of it

I watched him play a few high school games on TV and that was exactly what I saw. Tbh, I think he's calmed down some at Arkansas, but like you said, it was needed and I'm sure he's still finding his place some. Losing Brazile can only help in that regard, although I hate to even mention that.

Fouling out will be a problem for him, so making fouls count will be important. He has a motor that never stops, but he'll need to learn to control it some.

Silver lining in the Brazile injury ( don’t get me wrong - it hurts us but looking for a positive) is that Walsh has been able to grow faster. Walsh can play like a guard more so than Brazile could. Guard play is king in March

The one thing I miss is Brazile's ablity to shoot the 3. Had a good looking stroke and would open the floor up

Bad rumor going around that NSJ may be out for the year so hopefully that's not true
