Tate and Devo were absolute beasts.

Moody and Smith had rough games offensively but made up for it in other ways.

Anyone bashing smith is crazy. He had 2-3 clutch put backs.

Damn that ORU team was tough. Abmas and Obama were effin good.

Moody played way better in the 2nd half just wish he made that three at the end the game woulda been a lot less stressful

the biggest differences statistically last night was how we moved the ball. Moddy still put up 14pts, he averages 17pts....that's not a terrible game it's slightly below average. If that last 3pt attempt falls he's on average.

Wouldn't have come back at all without smith, he was a beast on the put backs.

check out how few assists we have though, and then consider how poor our shot selection was and it pretty much tells the story of our offense. The ball didn't rotate and our offense didn't flow. We only finally got it going scrapping for put backs and tapping it in from point blank range.

Tate basically took over the second half too. They exposed the matchup against him and the smaller guard. Great coaching there

He averages 17 on 12 shots. He got 14 on 20 shots last night. I don’t think he would argue with someone describing his performance last night as terrible.

It wasn't great but he almost came out average is the point. it's not like we should have been counting on him to have another 10 or so points than he had. The extra shots he took were shots notae would have taken since he sat notae second half more than normal is my view.

That’s almost exactly how many additional points I’d have expected him to have. He usually is money on that mid range shot and it wouldn’t fall. Normally he’d make one three, two more mid range shots and he’d convert another shot in the paint. 23 would have been an pretty average game for his standards given the shots he took.

I don't think we need this. I think one of our bench guards needs to be on and need a good game out of Williams/Smith down low to get the win.

Moody just needs to let the game come to him like usual. I think he was trying force it last night and that lead to poor shooting.

well sure on a normal night for the team. but if every shot is contested and he has to create it himself vs getting a good pass it's a lot tougher to make shots. He took way more tough shots last night than he usually does. that's a result of the offensive flow being so poor.

we need our normal offense to function and notae to go off. his shooting is the best thing about him and he's not getting it going. he also should have been able to do what tate did last night.

I think we're still due a game where we're really on point, hitting more shots, sinking more threes. Lets hope that game comes Monday.
