Latest women's bracketology has the Ladybacks as a 4 seed vs 13 MTSU, paired with 5 seed Missouri State.

I feel good about the draw, Texas Tech is getting recency bias because they went to the championship last time we had a tournament. This team is not that team.

Colgate won’t be a trendy pick, people would be stupid to pick them over Arkansas. Might be one of those picks that people like to talk about to make their bracket sound different.

Just took a look at Tech’s schedule and I’m not impressed. They don’t score a lot, several of their games they didn’t break 60.

Kenpom breakdown on Colgate

Fairly solid team all around except for the lack of turnovers they produce. They are also a small team.

As others have already said, these numbers a skewed a bit because Colgate only played conference games this year and every opponent they played did as well except for Army. They also didn't play the number one seed in that conference in Navy.

In alot of ways its a strength vs strength match up which is really nice in our favor

I can see people bet more on Colgate because they do zero research and just assume Arkansas is overrated.

Even that team needed help from the refs at home to beat Arkansas.

I think our size will give them problems.

Whats nice is we can easily run four guards out there in a lineup and should be fine.

Moody is just as big as their player that normally starts at the 4 for them. They also play two small guards most of the game.

If Tate can stay out of foul issues he has a huge size advantage over their best player

I can't see them be effective with the 3 against us. I think our speed will make them struggle for an open shot for the 3.

Just looked at their roster and they have 3 guys over 6'10.

There's more to it than that, our roster has a guy over 7' and few others close to that height that never see the court.

They're not athletic. I expect us to have a large rebound margin in this game and for it to not be close.

Yeah and they've really gotta stretch out from near the rim against us. Vanover from 3 and Smith/Williams can consistently hit deep 2's.

They don't look very athletic either, hell Vanover may cross one over and drive the lane.

Of course there is. I was just noting that they do have some taller players, in the hope that rockiee would do some work for us.

Great information rockiee!

Unless they are red hot from 3 the entire game they don't have a chance. Even if they are we still probably win. They haven't seen a team anywhere close to our caliber all year.
