Driving up tomorrow with 4 other fellow Alumn.
Expecting to get blown out but still a hell of a run and want to see it in person.

Their bigs are actually pretty meh. Mostly defensive presence. Got to contest the three, best three point shooting team in the country. Hope they have a cold night

But Bama would have given Baylor a run with their usual high play and we beat bama...
And didnt OK State beat Baylor? We came very close there as well prior to getting much better.
If we are on, we can do it. I give us about 40A% chance... it may go up the closer we get.

Just watched the Baylor/Villanova game. Although they shot poorly from 3, they can put 5 guys on the floor who shoot better than 40% from 3, so guarding the perimeter will be key.
Other keys:
1. Draw charges. When guarded close, Baylor guards will drive to the hole and muscle the ball in the basket. Moody, Tate and Jaylin could clean up drawing charges.
2. Let Devo and Notae drive like the Baylor guards. Baylor's guards are big and not particularly quick. I think Devo/Notae can get around them and make plays inside.
The obvious one is to make our shots and ball possessions count.

This is not an ESPN hates us take, but they have us as the 8th best team in the Elite 8. Hope our guards can remember how to shoot the ball tonight and we prove them wrong. This is the first Arkansas team that has been able to win while not being able to shoot dick at times. We're due for an explosion

Those are really the only teams you can make an argument for though and both have beaten better teams than we have so far.
It doesn't matter though, I like being in this position more and I think the team plays better this way as well. Give Muss more material to push the team.

Agreed. We made one (!) 3 pointer against ORU to go along with a lot of misfires on long jumpers.
My first thoughts after the initial euphoria was that if we can come back and win a game like that while shooting like butt, we could make some serious noise if we start shooting well, especially from beyond the arc.
ORU outshot us by roughly 5 percentage points from the floor, 42.6% to 37.7%. Offensive rebounding was the difference maker for us.
