Could you imagine if we got the 2 jc Roberson and McBride what dd and stonehoh would say? They would probably kill themselves at the thought the coach they hate is having success recruiting

Pretty sure that means we have more 4 stars than 3 stars in this class now.

That's one site, the composite is more accurate.

said no one until rivals had Arkansas' class ranked higher. Used to be that rivals was the "good site". 247 composite is only a few years old if I remember correctly

9 4*’s in the composite and 2-3 on the 3*-4* bubble.

As the final rankings we could see more movement with so many on the edge of 4*’s.

Rivals has never shown favoritism towards Arkansas in rankings so it’s noteworthy especially with 2-10 season.

I Would assume the entire focus of the remaining spots is going to be all o line.

From what I heard today, there are at least three visiting this weekend. And, if the Roberson flip is true, you have him as well.

He would put the class at 24. There's obviously room for more now after the recent transfers.

In a perfect world, you would hope we could get at least 4 or 5 more Commits and bring the class to around 30.

And basically all of those would be O lineman and hopefully a couple of them juco guys ready to play now.

It's Stone. He's made a habit out of twisting little points in my posts lately to stir shite up. Just ignore him.

The one thing I hate about it is that everyone just uses the Composite for the most part, but no one every just says what 247's own ranking is. If they're the best, I care more about their own ranking than a composite score.

Just posting facts. It's a good class, but let's not go overboard.

It's literally the best class the University of Arkansas has ever signed.

Link to where I said I "hate Morris"?

He finally addresses what has been the biggest issue with the roster when he was hired, the o-line, a position that the two decent players graduate this year and the "Bert didn't like them is why they didn't play" players showed to be lacking in the skill department on the field.

It is disingenuous to say the O-Line play, coaching, and recruiting hasn't been lacking bigly to this point.

You can have all the QB/RB/WRs and defensive talent in the world and it won't mean shite in this league unless you have a oline of equal talent, just look at Auburn since 2009...

247 had the best people when it first started and quickly surpassed rivals in the relevancy of recruiting discussion.

Rivals is usually touted when they have the classes ranked the highest of the two sites, 247 otherwise, it is what it is.

ESPN is trying to add an important factor to their rankings and class evaluations, recruiting to fill needs, but that is very subjective and ESPN doesn't have the resources or people to properly and fairly access every team on the FBS level to properly rank them, sure you can argue that the could narrow it down to P5 with a couple other schools that actually matter like ND, UCF (currently), and Boise, but even then they don't have the resources to do a thorough and fair job of adding in this factor IMO.

It is still an important factor, and even if Arkansas had the unanimous #1 class across all the sites, if the class didn't address the immediate need for O-linemen it would perform far below its ranking IMO.

I mean for players not team rankings.

For example Rivals and Composite have Hudson Henry the #1 TE in the nation, but 247 has him #2.
