Our WR's seems to be really struggling. BY sitting back there forever because no one getting open. Harrell finally got to play. Maybe he will get more play but we seem to have no deep threat.

seems like none came back to the QB and why we had no crossing routes with a TE or a WR beats me. They played a lot of zone meaning we should have had guys sitting 8-12 yards past the line for a quick catch.

Weakest group of receivers in 15 years. No TE doesn't help.

I think Holden would be better off as a hybrid TE.

Holden needs to be on the bench period.

I wish Niblack would get more PT. I'm assuming he hasn't shown he can handle the blocking part of being a TE, but he's a huge mismatch as a receiver.

100%. After the big drop against TN I said he's gotta go. He does nothing special out there

Isaiah Bond is the only WR we have that is even remotely intriguing. Who's been in charge of WR eval lately? Christ.

Yep. We need as many receiving threats as we can get at this point.

What was Saban yelling at Prentice about?

I was at the game and could only see the jumbotrons.

Holden and Burton are just guys. Brooks is at least steady and clutch. The Kevin Norwood comp is holding true. He had a catch today where I thought, man Julio would have stiff armed that DB and taken that to the house. And that's Julio, an all timer, but that's the level of play we've come to expect. These guys just ain't very close to that standard.

What happened to that Aaron Anderson guy that was making noise in the spring? He's on a milk carton now.

Simplistic routes is why nobody gets open. There’s more to passing offense than just running a post route

He got injured so his development got halted.

I think that BoB is not setting anyone in our offense up for success.

Yeah I know he got injured, just haven't heard anything about him since Spring. He seemed to have some juice.

I've been trying to get that message across, but everyone wants to blame BoB.

I dont like BoB. I'll be real happy when he leaves, but we have no WR's and no TE. Who do yall think is gonna stretch the field ? Our leading WR is a RB. lol

Jamo, Metch, Waddle, Smith, Jeudy, Ruggs, Ridley, etc., etc.,... they gone.

Todays game is QB's and WR's. You gotta have elite skill guys outside.

SECCG we nuke Georgia. Jamo and Metch go down, and we know what happened in the rematch.

Bama still gonna beat most anybody, but once it turns into a track meet like the game vs Tenn we are at a disadvantage without those DUDES on the outside.

Ummm....

The guy that won the Georgia state 100 meter AND 200 meter track events AND ran the 2nd leg of the 4x100 relay which they won as well AND whose personal best in the 100 meters is 0.79 seconds "slower" than Usain fricking Bolt's world record wears #17 in Crimson.

DON'T talk like BAMA doesn't have a burner. Isaiah Bond can fly. He has hands too. He was also a two way player at Buford high school and they won another title his Jr year. Buford high school is ELITE high school football in Georgia. I'm thinking he's not being used appropriately. No drag routes or slants to him? Why? Why no WR screens to him?
When he's 1-on-1 the ball should fricking always be thrown deep and to him. You can't overthrow that kind of speed.

It's dumb and frustrating.

Well said. We have a ton of speed. The issue is usage.

I am amazed people don't understand you can scheme even a slow unatheltic player open.

Oh and we run WR and RB screens.

We just use our worst blocker (Latu) to lead them and they consistently get blown up.

No adjustment. No realization Latu can't block quicker defenders.

Just keep running that play and Bryce will figure it out.
