Saturday ? They got crushed by Ole Miss yesterday which surprised me some after how Ole Miss was dominated by Kentucky on the LOS. I have absolutely no faith in our defense right now. We may have win shootouts the rest of the season.

We gotta stop Sellers and Sanders. I go back to them just running all over LSU and it worries me.

I think we outscore them. Tide 38 Cocks 28

If we lose again this week then DeBoer will be sitting on a scorching hot seat and Wommack will undoubtedly be out of a job.

Well, we play at Tennessee first. Then host Missouri.

Depends on if SC keeps the ball for over forty minutes and Alabama's offense has two critical turnovers and the special teams one.

If yes, Alabama loses. If no, Alabama wins.

If we lose this week, I will officially join the panic train, but there's no reason to think we won't bounce back at this point.

Alabama big. Lay the 20 something points. If we don’t come out with our arse on fire and roll Saturday, then we have big, big problems.

God, I hope so. Desperately need this win. South Carolina does some boneheaded stuff, commits really bad penalties.Their offensive line, while improved from last year, is still really bad. The fake punt they called in the first quarter deep in their territory was incredibly dumb. OM sniffed that out before it even was snapped. Really dumb move by Beamer.

If things how Bama is going to have to win were gonna have to start taking the ball to start games instead of deferring so we can get a fast start. Cannot afford to fall behind teams or we will get a repeat of what we saw yesterday. I knew the defense was going to struggle this year but I really hoped that they would be the kind of defense to get stops or turnovers at key moments in the game. That has not materialized in a way that I hope it would.

DeBoer is not going any where. We don’t want to become Auburn paying three coaches buyouts while paying the new coach. Besides who else is Bama going to get that’s a better head coach than DeBoer and wants to follow not just Nick Saban but come to a team where they fired a coach after one year. DeBoer seat will not be hot. Now he may lose the fan base but Alabama is not Texas from a money perspective

Worse case scenario than DeBoer getting fired year 1 would be DeBoer turning it around, making the playoffs, perhaps winning a title, and choosing to leave because our fanbase from top down are fricking morons.

In the late 1970s Bama played USC. Bama's defense did not play well and So. Cal. won. My running partner at the time had a good friend on Bama's Ol. He said he was told that many of the defensive players went partying the day before the game.

Bama's defense Saturday looked awful. I wonder if something similar happened. Maybe, the players just blew Vandy off. The only game on Bama's schedule that can be penciled in as a win is Mercer. That is if Saban doesn't bad mouth them like he did Vandy last week. I hate to say it but I think we may be in for a rough ride.

We can and should. However after observing the last 6 quarters of football I have zero confidence.

Same here. If we fail to stop South Carolina this week like we did Vanderbilt and the second half of the Georgia game then it will take a coaching change to stop the bleeding. I find it hard to believe that Wommack still has a job right now. The onus falls on DeBoer. If he won’t make changes then he needs to shown the door.
