Didn’t we all know this was gonna happen as soon as Moses and McMillon went down? We all knew we had 5 games to get them ready before A&M. I’m not freaking out yet.

The tackling is bad. Has nothing to do with injuries. We aren't tackling

I think because it absolutely felt like it was more than just those 2.

Not to mention it was allowed to.......a true freshman.

It wasn't fun but they have time to figure it out. But damn it feels like there are a bunch of holes to plug.

Anger and fear are the only emotions most Americans know. There is no chill.

Are we really gonna act like anybody who watched that defensive effort today and didn't have some concern is a retard?

Seriously?

No one, even the experienced members of the secondary, could tackle today.

Harris looked lost a few times out there today. Growing pains, hopefully he'll get in the film room and learn from it.

As others have said, tackling was the main issue today.

One of the worst showings I have seen from a Saban defense. Hope they can pull it together. If not we may have to turn some games into a shootout to win.

Dline looked slow, no push. they got checked at the line

LB's--I get it they are young, it showed

DB- they played "OK"

most of the SC ball carriers all fell for about 3 to 5 yards when they got hit. The d I think will get better as this season moves on...

Thought Raekwon Davis and Xavier McKinney played well...Anfernee Jennings had the strip sack but didn’t really hear his name other than that and we didn’t generate much pass rush other than that either. Got killed on slants and crossing patterns and we didn’t set the edge well. Jump balls continue to be an issue; considering that’s Trevor Lawrence’s favorite throw with his tall WRs, we better get that fixed if we have to play them again. Seems like we have trouble defending (or finding) the ball when it’s in the air. We were getting gashed for 5 or 6 yards on way too many first downs...and we gave up lots of third down completions (at one time, their QB was 8/10 on 3rd down). News flash: While we miss Moses and McMillon, we miss Quinnen Williams more; he was key to stuffing the run last year.

We got two more weeks to get things fixed on D before A&M...

I'll wait until this becomes a pattern before I start melting.
