We get it you love Deboer. What does he have to do to get you to not believe any more. Genuinely? Have the largest bowl loss in the history of the program? Get whooped by Vandy? Get whooped twice bad Oklahoma? Get embarrassed by michigans JV team in another bowl game? Get blown out by a Florida state team that would only win two other games? Or get blown out in the SEC championship game?

And there's one way to make sure that happens.
Short of that...fire everyone that touches the running game. OL, RB, SC, OC.

To be fair, only last year’s game at Oklahoma was a whipping.

We all would be, IRL, if we were as incompetent and unproductive at our jobs as this coaching staff.

Here's what's going to happen: instead of firing the guys who need to be fired, DeBoer is going to stick with them and end up getting the entire staff fired.

If you were the administration at Alabama, would you let Byrne hire the next coach? I sure as hell wouldn't. And I don't care that he hired Oats.

I’m not an irrational 14 year old who is swayed merely by wins and losses and swings around stupid stats like, “biggest loss since 1998” because my ego got bruised. I can take my losses like a man. I suggest others learn to do the same.
I realize that adjustments need to be made. We MUST become more physical at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Our defense has been soft up the middle and was the case to a degree in Saban’s last year. It really showed against Auburn and Michigan in 23. Our run blocking was horrid this year. That must change. We have a lot of very young guys on the roster. We will probably need to portal some guys in. The offensive scheme probably needs some adjustments. We absolutely must be able to run with power.
I also realize that we had some issues with our program from Saban’s last years continuing on into the present that have to get cleaned up.
I realize that last year we lost 3 games we shouldn’t have to inferior teams. I also realize that this year we didn’t. We beat Georgia at their place. We beat Auburn at their place, and we won a slot in the SEC championship game, in which we were extremely banged up. We made the playoffs and avenged the Oklahoma loss when it mattered. We are 10-4 because we played extra football, and people using that against the staff are flat out childish.
I realize that every single coach can be picked at. Some Georgia fans are probably saying Kirby needs to hang up the whistle because they haven’t won a championship in several years now and their egos are bruised. That’s stupid. Complaining about our guy and looking to whoever happens to be winning right now is also stupid.
I realize that we are playing a lot of young but talented guys and DeBoer is building his culture with his kind of players, which he has been successful in finding, if his Washington players are examples.
So, yeah, I am pretty bullish that our guy can adjust and get the job done. I am not going to run screaming like a woman at every setback. I will stay the course longer and give this man a fair shot.

He definitely part of the problem. Our teams have been getting bullied around ever since Cochran left and Rhea and Ballou took over.

OLC, RBC, S&C seems like a good list to me.
We’re pretty poor there.
A lot of this is the team isn’t physical. Part of it young guys playing against guys with 2 more years in a S&C program, some is I’m not sure we actually have one. We can’t stick blocks, we sure can’t get off any and we miss tackles all over the field.
We get NO push on the OL at all.

Are you basing this on the fact we hired him from South Alabama or have you done a deep dive on his coaching abilities?

Linebackers haven’t been that impressive either.
Lawson in particular. I actually thought the other 2 played decent. Lawson played with zero effort last night. On the field all game and made like 2 tackles 6-8 yards downfield

Need new coaches for both lines, offense and defense.

I am glad I never have to see #0 play another down along with #1 on defense.
