Who spent the most on NIL?

I'm going with them.

I’m thinking LSU? I seem to recall we’re tied for #3 at $30 million.

I guess my biggest beef with CKD and Grubb was the over reliance on gadget plays when it's 3rd or 4th and one and Bama desperately needs that one yard for a first down or TD. Way, way too many times we didn't get it. I'm sorry but when it's one yard, most of the time (not all but most), we need to line up with 2 or 3 TEs and just grind for that yard.

I think having watched most of the games live last year it was as clear to them as it was to me that we absolutely could not line up and get 2-3 yards with that OL and scheme last year against anyone with a pulse, particularly late when we were injured.

Demanding a team get better during the offseason at something is fair. They basically rebuilt the entire unit from the ground up and hired a new OL coach.

Demanding a playcaller calls plays the team can’t execute is not smart football particularly when it’s an air raid passing offense trying to run power with the possibly the worst P4 running OL to ever make the CFP.

Coach Bryant used to say if you can't consistently get that one yard, you probably deserve to lose that game and that saying is still correct to this day.

That’s fine but we don’t make the CFP running power behind that OL and if we don’t make the playoffs he doesn’t get extended and is probably coaching at Michigan right now.

I’d rather win games than try to make a point as far as how I did it.

I get it. The 3rd or 4th and short yardage results were maddening at times
