Is how we had Harris and BoScar running with reckless abandon (Harris averaging 8.5 YPC; BoScar averaging 7.7) and we only give them a combined 12 touches in the game.

Remember when we had Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson? There would be games where Ingram would get 20 carries and Richardson would get 15. And then Lacy would follow behind with six or seven carries. Our two starting RBs didn't even add up to 15 carries tonight!

We have zero identity on offense. None. We have one foot in the spread bucket and another in the game managing/pro-style. Jack of all trades, master of none.

I'm more disappointed in the coaching than anything else. This was just horrible. They really didn't put our guys in a position to win.

We go out and punch them right in the mouth and run it up their asses and the hero and derp the rest of the game.

So you're saying our coaching was bad?

Interesting.

The play selection certainly was.

I really have no idea what we were trying to do on offense. There was no consistency, no identity, and there didn't seem to be any clear plan.

Im not necessarily disagreeing...but I also remember who blocked for those other guys, and also the fact that we put up big numbers against some bad defenses this year.

Our OL is not good.

I'll say that when it comes to evaluating OL prospects and/or coaching them when they get here...yes, our coaching staff did a bad job.

They were good enough to open holes for our RBs when they were called on to open them tonight.

Take away Jalen's numbers tonight and we ran the ball only 20 times. But we averaged right at 6.5 yards per carry on those runs.

Our staff called a horrendous game today all arguing aside.

They were out coached at every turn.

You took exception to me saying Saban was a mediocre game day coach. I didn't say I wanted anyone else. He's the best there is when it comes to recruiting and building a program, but in the heat of the moment against good teams he chokes.

It is what it is.

In the past, QB’s managed the game. Now it seems everything revolves around Hurts. Playmakers have taken the backseat this yr. This team has a ton of playmakers, but worthless if you can’t get them the ball. Nobody’s job is safe this offseason, Nobody’s....

I don't know if I agree with that. We are young with playmakers but I do think Ruggs & Jeudy are some good ones. Ridley has had a disappointing year. That 3rd down ball he dropped was probably the biggest momentum killer of the night, IMO.

In the heat of the moment he chokes? Gtfo with that crap...Every coach chokes and shites the bed once in awhile. We had our opportunities today, did not use our rbs enough. But u win and lose as a team. And to everyone on this board who think we don't deserve the playoffs needs to remember we ll be healthy by that time. It's more than injuries I get that but coach has consistently won against extreme pressure every week for a decade. We don't slip and lose to pitiful teams, and don't give me that talent advantage crap because there's a team in Columbus that got their doors blown off twice by less talented teams. We are spoiled plain and simple and nitpick every damn thing. If we make it to the playoffs I ll guarantee we don't embarrass ourselves

In the past there were game managers who didn't lock in on one receiver and who read defenses better than Jalen.

What are you talking about? Without Ridley we lose to Mississippi State. If anything Jalen has held Ridley back because Jalen can't utilize the arsenal of receivers and tight ends he has at his disposal.

Nah. I'm good.

9 times out of 10 our talent overcomes his mistakes.

We didn't against Clemson last year and we certainly didn't today.
