Well, we know why Tenpenny didn't dress Saturday now..

"He was late for the meeting (Saturday) and I just told him to pick his stuff up and we'd talk to him later," Saban said. "I mean, the guy was late for the meeting. If it wasn't important enough for him to be at the meeting, it wasn't important enough for me to dress him for the game."

If Alabama signs a good RB this class maybe. Tyren is the next scat back/Drake for us I think.

Yeah, I think Tenpenny will transfer after the season. Wasn't he suspended back in the spring and have to miss practice. Now he as been passed by Jones in the depth chart. He will transfer and still have two years left to play.

I see this thrown around a lot around here but I never saw Drake as that type. He can run between the tackles, and he is actually really good at it.

There are plenty of guys who are scat backs who can do that. Darren sproles can. There are power backs, balanced backs, and scat backs. I see Drake as a scat because of his speed and receiving.

Besides the one long pass this year, what else did he ever do as a receiver? I am not doubting his receiving abilities, but just because he is fast as shite doesn't make him a "scat back". I would put him in the "balanced" category.

I call him a scat back just based on size alone. You are just not going to give it to him 35 times a game, 3 games in a row.
Tenpenny didnt dress this week and its omg he gone. Jones was hurt and suspended just weeks ago and suddenly he is so much more talented and better than Tenpenny.
No guarantee any of these cats ever play another down for Bama.

Drake isn't a scat back by any means. He is just fumble prone. I bet he has a higher fumble rate than any Alabama RB in history with more than 50 carries
