By the way, Bill Battle‘s shitty legacy lives on:
- Nike Contract
- Gregg Goff
- Avery Johnson
- Duke (Yes, I know it was CFA’s responsibility but we pay an AD to not bind us to shitty deals like that.)

Correct. The sooner people grasp this likely reality the better for their mental state.
People who don't think a 12-1 PAC12 champion leap frogging us the final week is a very real possibility are living in la-la land.
We need Oregon/Utah to drop a game.

You put Oregon or Utah in the playoff and at least one semifinal game will be a dud with poor ratings and empty seats.
Don't forget this is a business. And, Bama getting in makes a lot of financial sense for the future of the playoff especially expanding the playoff.

Yep and yep. Rematch of Bama LSU at some point would get huge hype and ratings.

So UGA isnt penalized for losing to SC at home lol

Thats the real issue is the PAC 12 who have 2 1 loss teams that neither one in their last 3 games play a team with a better record then 4-5. So if both finish 11-1 going into their CCG they will jump us. I actually think they would also jump LSU if UGA wins out.

- If UGA wins out, then they are in and it’s no longer our problem.
- I’m hesitant to say that we will get in over a 1 loss PAC 12 Champ but if we look the part against Miss State and then convincingly beat an Auburn team that beat the PAC 12 champ at a neutral site, then I think most metrics will put us over the top.

Agreed. I want revenge.

I’m trying to figure out why the rant is celebrating like there isn’t a month left lol
LSU fans celebrate when Alabama loses anything.
They don’t realize it but LSU fans have the biggest little brother syndrome of any fan base in the SEC. Sometimes little brother whips your arse and you have to put up with child-like mockery. This is just one of those times.

Unless Utah is the one loss champ.. then it gets interesting. The Barn beat Oregon.. but if Utah wins.. that might throw a monkey wrench in it all.

Yeah; they are really pumping up the”Tua has quit” and “Tua won’t play another down at the college level” theories. It’s almost like they don’t want to play a healthy Tua or something.

Oregon's resume is better than Utah's and will always be the more attractive 1-loss PAC12 team.

Just saw the scroll on ESPN, apparently we have the highest % to make the playoffs at 41%. Oregon has a 31%. UGA has the next highest at 21%. Utah, Baylor, PSU, Minnesota, and Oklahoma have less than 12% chance to make the playoffs.

If LSU beats Georgia convincingly innSECCG then they are out with 2 losses. We need au to lose so that Oregon has a loss to a 4 loss mid pack SEC team.

That's kind of my thought as well. If Auburn does beat Georgia, and we can hammer Auburn it gives us a great win, but I'm more worried about it strengthening Oregon's one loss. The committee does take in to account how good/bad your loss is..
I feel like they may look for any way to "spin it" to get Oregon in, and that just may be the route they take.

I disagree with the auburn loses because this committee favors wins over loses. A big win over auburn at auburn would be a bigger boost.

UGA has a much worse loss than us but they also have two much better wins. In the long run, it doesn't matter that UGA is ahead of us; if they win out, they'd have jumped us any way. For us to get in, at the least, we need UGA and Oregon to drop a game; we might even need OU to drop a game and or Baylor to drop a game.
Best case scenario if we win out:
Baylor beats OU this week and then loses to Texas the following week.
Oregon loses at Arizona State and beats Utah in the PAC-12 championship game.
AU and/or LSU beats UGA.
Wild (but unlikely) scenario: AU beats UGA and then UGA beats LSU in the SECCG; the SEC champ gets left out but two 1-loss non-conference champions from the SEC (LSU, Bama) make the play-off and the internet explodes...
