If Auburn does beat Georgia, and we can hammer Auburn it gives us a great win, but I'm more worried about it strengthening Oregon's one loss. The committee does take in to account how good/bad your loss is..

The committee especially looks at common opponents. A thrashing of Auburn at Auburn will give us an edge.

Remember the Leader of the committee is Oregon’s AD.. they are getting in

He's not in the room when Oregon is discussed.

Correct. The sooner people grasp this likely reality the better for their mental state.

People who don't think a 12-1 PAC12 champion leap frogging us the final week is a very real possibility are living in la-la land.

We need Oregon/Utah to drop a game.

Of course it is a real possibility. But if politics of conference are put aside...

Alabama has zero ranked wins. They are 0-1. Beat Auburn and it's 1-1 with a win over Auburn (which beat Oregon), and a 5-point loss to #1 LSU.

Utah has NOT EVEN PLAYED a ranked team and have a loss to 6-4 USC.

Oregon has zero ranked wins. They are 0-1. If they beat Utah, its 1-1 with a win over Utah (again, no ranked wins) and a loss to the Auburn team we beat.

The bold part is the issue. Does the committee put aside the notion that 2 of the best 4 teams in the country can come from the same division of the same conference.

Yeah, but he is when Alabama (and anyone else competing with Oregon for the #4 spot) is discussed. That whole "recusal" process kind of falls apart when you really think about it and it's why there is no way in hell current ADs should be on the committee.

Looks like early year losses count less than late year losses. We should schedule lsu for the first game of the year.

Why? We beat them 8 out of 9 times. Ole Miss and Auburn give us more trouble than that - we should move them up.

So you're saying Lsu, ole miss, then Au first 3 games? Sounds awesome! I like the way you think.
