Do we go all LSU "we don't care what we did suck it bitches we're here" or do we low-key it and wait to actually win some games, maybe make the tournament?

Whenever you find yourself questioning whether behaving like LSU fans is appropriate, the answer is literally always no.

Spread some of that love to Greg Byrne as well. Talk about hitting a home run! What a good hire.

Now if he comes through with a new BB stadium...WOW

Duke is probably our main competition for him, so if their guys are throwing in the towel that's a good sign. I hope he announces soon and joins the effort to recruit Houstan.

Yeah, I took that as an excellent sign as well. Hope it pans out that way.

Does this mean that Wilson will have 3 years of eligibility for us?

Yeah, I think so. Hopefully Cecil or someone can clarify.

Houstan, I do think he’ll decide before the earl signing period ends. With regards to Duke, I would tend to believe they are a little more focused on PBJ while Alabama and Michigan seem to get the most buzz for the smooth shooting Canadian.

Nate Oats has started to move the needle on the recruiting front since arriving in Tuscaloosa, and landed his first five-star prospect in early October when in-state guard J.D. Davison (No. 14) picked the Crimson Tide. As a point guard, Davison is aggressive driving to the lane and loves to finish above the rim. He will be one of the most entertaining freshmen in the country in 2021-22. Davison is joined by four-star Jusaun Holt, a small forward from Georgia who can shoot it. Oats added another big piece recently, as highly touted junior college transfer Langston Wilson committed to Alabama. There are some key targets still left on the board, namely Caleb Houstan and Charles Bediako.

JD Davison is dropping hints on Twitter that #1 CB Ga'Quincy McKinstry will commit to Alabama today. I guess that means he might be on the basketball team in some capacity next season as well.

Maybe it will trick the FOGs into coming to the games hoping to see him play.

With limited attendance, i'd rather the actual basketball fans get to enjoy and support the team in person.

So how does that work with scholarship does he just count toward football?

Not that I'm complaining. Excited to see what he can do!
