Florida is expected to make a change at quarterback for Saturday's SEC matchup against Oklahoma, with sophomore Tramell Jones Jr. set to start over Aaron Philo, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Jones will make his second start of the season after previously leading the Gators to a 27-24 upset victory over No. 7 Texas on October 17 while Philo was sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Philo returned to the starting lineup last Saturday against Georgia but was benched after throwing two interceptions in the first half of Florida's 27-8 loss. Jones replaced him and finished with 172 passing yards, one interception and a rushing touchdown.
On the season, Jones has completed 63 of 89 passes for 579 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions.
Florida head coach Jon Sumrall declined to name a starter earlier this week, listing both quarterbacks atop the depth chart.
The Gators (5-3, 3-3 SEC) will host Oklahoma (4-4, 2-3 SEC) on Saturday night in Gainesville. Kickoff is set for 6:45 p.m. CT.
