And JQ wasn’t JUST a random 5-star.....he was a McDonald’s All-American

Am I the only one that liked beetle? Lol

Beetle looked decent to me. He was a pretty good shooter with tunnel vision that played hard defense

I think his three point shooting ability is gonna surprise a lot of Bama fans. These are Quinerly's shooting stats from High School. He was a career 45% three point shooter in HS, he shot 48% from three his senior season.

I liked Beetle, he wasn't able to show much of what he could do this year since he had issues all season with either being injured or sick. Ellis would be an upgrade though.

I found out why Primos composite isn’t a 5*.......Cecil said on his podcast that ESPN doesn’t rank kids from Canada.....WTF.

When he wasn’t a ball hog I loved him. Because he gave his all on defense, even though he fouled a lot

He wasnt ranked on rivals either other than just having 4 stars.

Most 5* recruits are.

That's a bit ridiculous. Most of those kids participate in the same summer circuits as their American counterparts. Evaluating them both on the same scale shouldn't be that difficult.

True. But you do have a lot of highly recruited ones like John Petty and Kira Lewis who get left out

We’re clearly in full on offseason mode with Singleton and Ellis, however it’s certainly reasonable to expect them to be better than a true freshmen (should have been redshirting if things had worked out differently) Forbes.
The biggest curiosity I have about Quinnerly is how much of an upgrade he’ll be defensively. He’s likely to be a downgrade offensively because of just how good Kira was, but he’s also likely to be an upgrade defensively because....it would be hard not to.
Better PG defensive play and (fingers crossed) better interior defensive play from Bruner and Rojas, and now you’ve got something.

As y’all know I work for Rivals and the National guys have told me they don’t evaluate kids outside the US. ESPN doesn’t either. The only reason Espn has one for Primo is because he played in Arizona two years ago and that’s an eval from then so it screws up the composite.

Listening to Oats podcast, he doesnt talk like Quinnerly is a down grade offensively. He talked like Q has very good 3 point range.

He’s a 44% 3 point shooter in high school. He’s very good

I understand not ranking International kids from outside North America, but not ranking Canadian kids is a bit strange and I have to imagine that will be ending soon given how many there are and the talent level.
They compete on the US summer circuit and in a ton of international play. It shouldn't be hard at all to evaluate them the same way you evaluate a kid from the States.

I don’t have access to BOL so not sure what Hank and Watts posted about Darius Miles, but they both put in CB’s for him to Bama.
