You think we add all four of ellis, bruner, singleton and miles if we can?
If we add all 4 of those guys the chance next season gets postponed due to another Covid outbreak is almost assured.

I already expect it. I'm excited to see the team next year. It looks like Oats has Bama on the right track, so I doubt basketball exists from now on.

I agree. I’ve come to the conclusion that we’ll only have online gaming events from now on. I’ve already stooped to watching erasing on Sunday. Hard times man

6-foot-8 forward that averaged 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds last season; shot 39% from 3-point range.
Wonder if we’ll kick the tires on this kid.

Alabama isn’t recruiting McGowens much, if at all. Nolley from Va Tech is a headcase but I don’t expect Alabama to push hard for him

McGowens reminds me a lot of Dazon. Do not want.

What about him reminds you of Dazon?

We already have two spots open. Are you talking about spots for additions besides Ambrose and Primo?
The two spots we had open from Beetle and Hawkins were filled by Primo and Ambrose. The two we technically have open now are from Kira and Petty leaving.

Similar size/build, not a very efficient scorer, poor shooter, lots of turnovers. He also takes way too many 3s for a guy who barely makes 30% of them. I don't think he is a fit for what we are trying to do at all.

McGowens would be better in this offense that he was in Pitt's and he is a good defensive player. I'd rather have Ellis but I probably would rather have McGowens or Nolley than Singleton, not that I don't like Singleton.
Speaking of Singleton he posted this about 30 minutes ago

I have narrowed down my list and will be making my decision on Monday. As of now I will not be taking calls or text from any coaches. I just want to enjoy these next few days with my family and think about my decision. Thank you

We can forget Nolley. Memphi$ is on his list that made the cut. Penny gonna Penny.

Those numbers on D’Avanzo look like a perfect fit for a G/F for Oats. I wouldn’t be surprised if we try to get involved with him.

I like Ellis more than McGowens because Ellis is pretty deadly from outside. McGowens just isn't a good shooter and he doesn't make up for it by hitting like 55% of his 2 point shots either. He's not a very efficient scorer in general. Nolley is probably the most talented transfer available, but a starter leaving his program after 1 season raises a ton of red flags and I don't believe we are at a point where we can afford to roll the dice on a guy like that. I don't know how to feel about Singleton. He reminds me a bit of Herb, but if you made Herb an adequate defender rather than an elite defender and kept everything else about him the same is he still a power conference player? I think so, but it's not an obvious yes anymore. I like that Miles kid that has been mentioned. He's a fluid athlete but has no idea what he's doing. Basically a blank canvas.

Im hoping we sign 4 more any way if Petty leaves. Galin wont get any PT here if we get Bruner so he might as well leave and I doubt forbes would get much either.

If we ended up with that list at the top do you guys think it would be an upgrade or downgrade over last season?
