Don’t take much into Corey’s futurecast. He likes to make predictions way ahead of time to see if they stick, but ends up changing multiple times. He told me it’s just a gut pick and he has no info on it. Also, I don’t see Pett staying much longer. I think his time as coach at Bama ya run his course. He wants to be a head coach one day.

This decision has absolutely no impact on whether Petty stays or goes. It is the reason that Bama told Nike Sibande to hold off however.

It doesn’t mean no Petty or someone would leave. Alex wouldn’t start right away, would definitely have a chance to be a starter by the end of the season. I do feel good about Alex and have since he reclassified.
