I was thinking the same thing. Get a big win, lose to Texas A&M at home.

I really think this team is different. I think the entire mindset of the program is different.

I know that I'm setting myself up for it but I really don't think the way we play under Oats (running, fast, etc) lends itself to sluggish awful letdowns. It might lead to a night where we shoot 5/35 from 3PT (which we've basically done the last 2 games), but I don't think it lends itself to the typical Alabama frustration of years past - walking around, no energy, frustration, etc.

We'll see.

Y’all negative Nancies need to STFU! This is a new dawn, a new era for Bama basketball. Enjoy it! There will still be ups and downs but they are getting less. Nate is transforming the program. The direction is up, always up. Enjoy the ride, this is Bama football circa 10/2007.

Its always been hard to win on the road in this conference. It still is. So we need to defend Coleman like savages. Because we do have to travel to places like Memorial Gym in Nashville where better basketball teams than this one have been upset. Its gonna happen. Doesnt mean we arent getting better, its just SEC shooty hoops. I’m tickled to death to be where we are right now; you can see it coming together and let me tell you, after watching Bama basketball since the CM Newton days, this time IS different.

Honestly, I couldn't feel much better about a 9-7 record. We've been very close in most of those losses, and the team continues to improve. More importantly, they ADAPT to what other teams are trying to do against them.

Knock on all of the wood but it would be really nice to take the next 3 vs. Missouri, @Vanderbilt, and K State

NET’s currently at 44 and it would probably be in the mid 30s if we win those 3

I've been pretty bought on this since the Belmont game really. Granted there have been a few downs since then, most notably Florida, but there were positives even in that game.

I came away from last night really impressed with Auburn's defense. They are long and athletic and can really make it hard to get good shots. And we still scored 83 and won by 19.

I thought we wore them down a bit. The last 5-6 minutes it seemed like we were able to space them out more and really get to the basket.

I have no idea what to expect from Missouri (apparently they are pretty good, but I haven't seen a second of them), but I do think we'll play pretty well.

I've been so conditioned to listening to Tom Roberts on the radio spit out "It's been since the 14:30 mark since Alabama last scored" , it's hard to believe otherwise.
Probably like it took a couple of months this season for LSU football fans to truly believe that their offense wasn't going to revert back to 2 yards and a cloud of dust.

It's a Cuonzo Martin team so I suspect they'll try to slow the game down to a crawl and out-muscle us inside.

Identical record as Bama but they're VERY up and down. Beat Oklahoma and then turned right around and lost to Charleston Southern early in the year . Beat Florida at home then next game lost by almost 30 at Mississippi State Tuesday night.

I've got the BBall version of Shula Syndrome so I'm very worried but based on what both teams have done so far it will take our worst home performance of the season for them to win.

Jeremiah Tilmon is hurt so that's one less post player we'll have to deal with.

We have a chance to sweep AU for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

And of course poor Galin is the only negative.

For all the bitching and moaning about some of Kira's work recently (raises hand), he was pretty much fantastic last night. Made 2-3 made reads on drives, but that is going to happen when you run this offense as the point.

He attacked Auburn with force and made most of his tough finish opportunities. And, when he went to the line, he cashed in.
