Looks to me like everyone is about to have a shortened season. Maybe teams will be allowed to start playing again in mid-April.

Folks there is a good chance we will only have one loss heading in to April.

Amazing turnaround.

I like the way you look at it.

By the way, this seems like a good time for book recommendations since I won't be watching TV for at least three weeks. Anyone?

Is this a fact?

If so, it is basically a reset for the healthcare system to get the first cases out of the way and stop the serious spread. We will be back to normal living in two -three weeks.

Yea it’s official. Now every team basically gets a reset and new season starts next month. At least our guys will be scrimmaging against Prielipp to give us some sort of SEC quality ABs during the break. I’m assuming scrimmages will be allowed and also guessing Bo will have our guys throwing 75+ pitches in said scrimmages.

So many questions. So little answers.

This reminds me of that MLB strike back in the 90s when the owners finally caved and the season ended up starting late. There was another strike that cancelled the World Series.

So ridiculous. We are cancelling events three months out with no clue what the situation will be even three weeks from now.

It's a pure liability decision. Fan attends NCAA sanctioned event, fan contracts coronavirus, fan dies, fan's estate sues NCAA.

A glimmer of hope.

quote:

@RossDellenger The #SEC has not made a decision on spring sport seasons & its own postseason tournaments, source says. Despite #NCAA's cancelation, the league could still hold things such as the baseball and softball tournaments. Long way from when those events are scheduled (2+ months).

Hoover is still in play.

For now.

Fine. It could be made a month from now. The rush to do this to gain brownie points from elites is idiotic.

Daybreak: How surreal stretch impacts UA teams, recruiting (Podcast)
quote:

On the heels of an unprecedented 48-hour stretch, BOL staff members Charlie Potter, Hank South and Travis Reier discuss what might be next for UA, with an emphasis on:

-- Could spring sports return to the field at some point in the not-too-distant future?

-- As of late Thursday night, the word on UA football spring practice.

-- Tide football recruiting forced to adjust once again.

I’m not handling this well at all

The @SEC has moved its potential restart date from March 30 to April 15, and will not allow teams to practice until that point.

As one #SEC coach just said: “We’re done”.
