Expect a non-playoff season if Mack cant win job. Older players are dominating CFB right now

Russell starting as RS-Sophmore is best possible outcome

Congrats to Ty, hope he lands with a good team, gets his chance and gets a big payday!
The guy has heart and deserves it. Roll Tide!

Ok, I was wrong...for some reason I was thinking there was a May portal period. Hard to keep up. So we should be good at QB.

Ty is probably generally thought of as the third QB on the draft board...and apparently he got that feedback. It seems to be a weak QB class. Mendoza is good, but I don't think he's #1 overall good, but he probably goes there to the Raiders. The perpetually QB seeking Jets likely then take Moore out of Oregon (or maybe Namath comes out of retirement).

Then Ty comes into play. If he can hopefully avoid Cleveland, then it gets interesting.

Miami at 11 seems a little high, but they may be looking if they don't think Ewers is a franchise QB. Tua is going to be cut...they're on the hook for a ton of guaranteed money to him so will need to ride with a QB on a rookie level contract for awhile to buffer that cost to Tua.

Best 2 options in the 20s are the Steelers and Rams. Both currently have long in the tooth veteran QBs...he could sit a season or two while being groomed to take over. From a development standpoint the Rams would probably be the best case scenario. jmho

Unfortunately, the Cardinals love him, should have stayed in college rather than risk that black hole

Bama loses a 1st round NFL draft pick who played hurt and with the worst run game since the 1900s and some people will say "Good riddance!".

I wish him luck. He was a great Bama player and will be remembered fondly by all (non-retarded) Bama fans.

Why couldn't a guy that gets drafted by a bad NFL team just go back to college? Or play arena league for a couple years and then go back to college?

My only concern on Mack is his accuracy and touch on 0-10 yard stuff which he tends to be off target and throw too hard on.

We have quite a few fans who have the emotional control of teenage girls when it comes to Bama football

Good luck to Ty. He stuck it out here and not many players do that these days. He’s a winner.

If Mack and Russell stay should be a good battle. Things to like with both of them for sure.

If he gets drafted later in the 1st round or sometime in the second, he may avoid going to an awful franchise.

He's not getting drafted in the first round. At best, he's second day pick but I would say 3rd round.

Ty is a 5th round pick at best. There is no way all the NFL GM’s they contacted said he was a 1st round pick. He is too nervous in the pocket and panics and makes bad decisions, all things that will get you killed in the pros.

Be surprised if we don't get a veteran QB for depth from the portal.

Austin Mack would be in year 4(?) with Grubb. Wouldn't he be the veteran that knows Grubb the most?!

I will bet you $100 that Ty is not picked in the 5th round (or later). I will give you 10-1 odds. I lose $100, you lose $10.

Most likely because he doesn't get much game time. Touch will be better when he's in with the starters on a regular basis.
