ETA: My point is that no one cared about the TWENTY in the portal pre-Saban announcement. However, we are melting over these TEN.

That’s because 10 of the 20 are walkons and the 9 of the other 10 were guys who either were never going to contribute or guys who we didn’t want to return

One of Bears Boys won us a national title. It was also the one Bear suggested we hire. I doubt very seriously that if Saban was asked he suggested DeBoer.

He 100% suggested DeBoer. He wanted Grubb last year. I wish the mods were doing their job.

Bear had us hire Perkins. Bear had long passed when Gene Stallings came into the picture and was a DB coach with the Dallas Cowboys when the torch was passed.

Wrong. Bear said to hire Stallings and the AD didn’t listen.

No he did not. lol
Saban didn’t suggest a replacement he’s likely never met. Come on man.

You are right about this.

You are wrong about DeBoer.

How many players were in the Portal before Saban left? Can you answer that question

10 so far. All contributors or highly expected to contribute. 11 if you count Ryan Williams.
Kayden Proctor
Caleb Downs
Isaiah Bond
Julian Sayin
Trey Amos
Amari Niblack
Shawn Murphy
Antonio Kite
Dez Ricks
Kendrick Blackshire

Read his quoted question again, because you didn't answer it (you answered it wrong).

Nah, because Bama football doesn't run my life like it apparently does for some of you.

Bama could go 0-15 next year and I will give exactly zero fricks.

Who gives a crap... 8, 10, hell all 20. Just understand that we had the best roster in football. Getting poached was going to happen. You reload the best you can and develop talent. We haven't really developed jack in the last 2 years.

Let deboer and staff do their job better judging.

You answered it incorrectly in the post I responded to. In any case, this was inevitable when Saban left.

Y'all... Stop melting. This amount of turnover by players is expected in today's NIL world. Give the new staff (a great staff, btw) time to work.

It's not even an unusual amount of turnover. These folks just tied themselves to specific players for no discernible reason.

How’d Perkins turn out? Or Dubose?
You talk out of your arse like an emotional woman.
It prolly explains your fetish with Kiffin

As I said earlier, Bear told the AD to hire Stallings. The only man between Bear and Saban to win a title.

It’s a highly unusual amount of elite talent turnover.
