Im sure Tua is in an uncomfortable position.

I'm only against Jalen playing qb since there is a much better option (Tua) that will help the team win. It's not fair to the defense to constantly be out on the field because the offense can't do anything.
Alabama averaged 40 pts a game in 2016 and 35 ppg in 2017. How exactly is the offense not doing anything with Jalen on the field?

This just gets better and better.

Yeah there's the standard tidefans comment...Like a liberal who shouts down an opposing view.

How about we look below the stats and look at the how the offense performed in games against good teams with legit defenses this past year.

Be careful. Tuaman is listening

I'm tired of that cop-out argument, u play the schedule u play. We were a top 20 offense(maybe higher), and we're top 3 in game control all year.

Are we going to look at the entire offense or just Jalen?

He had 21 yards passing in the Georgia game. 120 passing yards vs Clemson. 112 passing yards vs Auburn. 123 passing yards vs Texas A&M, 96 passing yards vs FSU etc.

2016 had a bunch of non offensive touchdowns too

No one has ever said jalen was polished , but he was thrown into the fire game 1 of his career and has been more than adequate. The problem is he has been given ZERO credit and all the blame in many situations. It's not even honest criticism at times.

Completely agree with him. I don't see how/why people just can't support whoever is playing.
It's pathetic IMO when I hear worse things about our players coming from our own fans than I do fans of other teams.

From now until Spring Practice is going to be awesome.

That post summed up my whole mindset. I support whoever gives us a chance to win but I appreciate everyone who contributes on the field. I guarantee LSU , Michigan, Florida, and a host of other schools would've taken jalen over the situations they had.

What do you want to hear? That Jalen was a great Quarterback and this criticism is unwarranted? By the time we played UGA, his inability to pass had become a liability. Against Clemson we had the worst offensive output since 2013 Virginia Tech. We could only score 14 points against AU. WR's were running around wide open and Jalen couldn't do anything about it. The offense flowed through him so naturally he's going to be the central figure when criticism comes.
I love the guy and completely respect the class he demonstrated, but a change was needed. If he had stayed in the game, UGA wins by at least 20.

No doubt he was thrown to the fire last year. I can excuse anything last year since he was a true freshman.
This season, however, he was supposed to be an improved passer and clearly that was not the case. There's nothing wrong with that, he just doesn't have it to play the qb position. There's no hard feelings. I hate it didn't work out for him because he seems like a great guy.

alen still will have packages for him
I would still like to see Jalen involved in this offense with some specially designed packages. Would be deadly because Jalen is a special talent as well.....just not a passer.

Both are awesome respectable gentlemen. They really work well together and respect one another so much. Jalen got us there. Tua finished. Proud of them and the team.
