“Tired of people not appreciating the fact that if this man led us to the National Championship. And for all the fans that are against Jalen, you against me too. You either WITH US or AGAINST US. Love you 2 ??#BigBroLittleBro @JalenHurts ”

If being against Jalen means I hope Tua is the starter next season, then consider me against Jalen. And I guess, therefore, against Tua...even though I'm for Tua.

I'm confused.

But you are also with Tua which he says means you are with Jalen. So you are both for and against and with and without.

Hes being a team player, I dont think we have seen the last of Jalen, I think even if Tua wins the QB position, Jalen still will have packages for him

Tua Tagovailoa fires back at those knocking Jalen Hurts
quote:

As the offseason quarterback discussion begins, the two Alabama contenders on Thursday wrote messages on social media.

Freshman Tua Tagovailoa, who came off the bench to lead the Crimson Tide to Monday's national title win over Georgia, had a message of support for Jalen Hurts.

"Tired of people not appreciating the fact that if this man led us to the National Championship," Tagovailoa wrote. "And for all the fans that are against Jalen, you against me too. You either WITH US or AGAINST US. Love you 2 #BigBroLittleBro@JalenHurts"

The web has been an active place discussing the title-game swap and what it means moving forward. After the game, Hurts was all smiles supporting Tagovailoa.

Hurts responded to Tagovailoa a few minutes later.

"Love You Too Lil Bro ! Proud Of You! #NationalChampions" Hurts wrote in his first tweet since April 27.

Other teammates responded to Tagovailoa including Henry Ruggs III and Christian Miller.

"FAMILY," Ruggs wrote.

"#MyQuarterbacks," added Miller.

Even former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims chimed in.

'thank you bro," Sims wrote. Y'all to stick together and be one don't let anyone bring y'all against each other remember who y'all play for. Family is always the most important thing I love y'all boy and keep leading with class #6 #2#13."

Tagovailoa replaced Hurts after falling behind 13-0 against Georgia on Monday. The freshmen went 14 for 24 with 166 yards, three touchdowns and interception. Hurts was 3 of 8 with 21 yards passing.

Again, I love the relationship both guys have shown. Nothing but Grace, Humility, and CLASS. I have to add in guys that are moving on, like Minkah, Shaun Dion, Rashaan, Brad Bozeman, Da'Ron, AA, Levi (and the list goes on and on) have represented the University pretty much flawlessly during their time on campus.

The torch has been passed once again, but the program continues to be in excellent hands going forward. This here dream is just too good, LOL!!!

Roll Tide!!!!

I'm only against Jalen playing qb since there is a much better option (Tua) that will help the team win. It's not fair to the defense to constantly be out on the field because the offense can't do anything.

I'm for Jalen using his athletic abilities to play another position and give himself a better chance to make it to the NFL. I hope he stays at Alabama. He is a great guy who just couldn't/can't make it at the qb position.

You'd enjoy yourself more on Tidefans. I assume that's where you came from.

This was needed. I was waiting for someone on the team to come out and show support for Jalen. First his brother, and now Tua. I see Ruggs and Miller showing some support as well. That's what I wanted to see. IMO, Jalen didn't deserve this. Fanbase has no chill and it's amazing how low people can go....
