I responded to a rival fan that I have been saying since 2016 that Hurts wasn't good. That's a fact and surely it isn't news to anybody on this board how I felt about it. I have not rubbed it in on the Alabama board though, and haven't even considered it, but I do reserve the right if provoked.

okay Mr. 'dig up a quote by ft8 and try and hang it over his head even though it has nothing really to do with what ft8 is talking about'

I don't think anybody was "hating on" Jalen.

To me the definition of “hating on” is talking about someones performance in any situation when you personally could do no better. Therefor it would make that person a hater, in my book anyways. It’s not always a bad thing to be a hater. Sometimes it’s even healthy to hate a little bit. Just get it all out lol

I saw you gloating over on the Rant.

The best way to gloat in victory is to not gloat. Simply shake hands, say "good game" and then bask in the afterglow.

After the game I was happy to see Saban so happy. But part of me wishes he would have played it hard like he normally does and start talking about the 24 hour rule, just to see everyone be like “is this dude serious?!”

But really it was awesome to see Coach so emotional. Good for him.

It took Tua to bring us together.

Just sayin.

Saban will retire as the GOAT

Dude, I'm getting more amped days later.

I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined something like this in the 90s or 2000s. I'm totally befuddled how this even happened.

ha. It took me a while to get it. But I am pretty sure all that was before the game.

Actually, I have posted here before, and I think since the game, that some posters just support and defend every player, regardless and in spite of anything else. You seem to be that sort of poster. To your credit, you still haven't slighted Hurts in any way, but are also firmly in Tagovailoa's corner and have celebrated his comeuppance as much as or maybe more than any poster. Anybody should be able to respect a fan like that. I do anyway.

I don't know a single Tide fan who has ever been "against Jalen", but there are many of us who were painfully aware of his deficiencies: inability to see or hit open receivers; too quick to bail out and run or throw the ball into the tenth row.

The problem with a quarterback who can run, will run. I want one who runs as a last resort. Running is for the RBs.

I don't think this is fully directed at just the QB criticism. There are definitely people that do seem to really hate Jalen. I wanted the best for Jalen, but became open to the idea of Tua this year as the season went on and Jalen somehow regressed. Now I would like Jalen to figure out what he can do for best chances to get into the NFL.

There are some here however who will downvote and/ or completely reject anything remotely positive for Jalen. Like someone can say "Jalen is a good athlete." Bam easy 2 down votes. A lot of Bama fans have discussed a position change (likely best bet) and you'll have people absolutely rejecting it not even willing to see it attempted.

Im pretty sure that I correctly predicted Hurts should play until the second half of the national championship game so that our opponent wouldn't get too much film on Tua thus increasing his effectiveness until he fully comes into his own and is ready to take the full keys to the offense.

Now who wants to touch me????

I don't understand this... No one has said Jalen wasn't valuable to this team. He has done a lot of great things for this team and it is appreciated, however, he has failed to do things very well too. And at this point if there is a better option, you go with that option.
If we go 0-30 in the next 3 years. Saban has to go, and has to go in a hurry... However, it doesn't negate what he has done for the program.
